Remember how MTV pulled this video for the Tool song Prison Sex about child sexual abuse because it was deemed too offensive for tv?

Regardless, this song just SCREAMS what goes through Denny Hastert's head as he violated his students to me.

Kind of unfortunate that anyone would choose to not expose the clearest depiction of motivations behind predation - the same year Hastert took another one.
Power buys protection.

Those with real power will come forward and speak to the truth of what happened.

Preferably to the FBI, as well as to the public.

When are we going to make all government-employed elected officials mandated reporters of child sexual assault (which includes reporting reasonable suspicion) upon penalty of termination/expulsion?

yes, for elected officials too.

& that includes possession of digital evidence
To be clear, I believe candidates should be required to waive any statute of limitations for all predatory crimes too - so the “but they never filed charges” dance ends.
And tbh, it should be a crime to have any knowledge of criminal activity on a candidate and not report it, ‘cause that undermines our democracy and our national security…

what you get when bad actors working for oligarchs convince a bunch of disadvantaged people that another disadvantaged group of people is responsible for their situation, rather than the oligarchs siphoning up all wealth, & keeping wage slaves from upward mobility.
It's finding a scapegoat that distracts from the consolidation of wealth as the ultimate cause of a lack of social mobility, to protect the status quo for the bajillionaire class.
And for many at the capitol, their participation was performative, not true 'white rage.'

These business owners, those who flew in on private jets, those funded by Mike Lindell - they WERE the agents of the oligarchs. The brand ambassadors, per se.

Maybe it's time for legislatures to consider passing laws that have jurisdiction based on population density?

AR-15s should be illegal to possess anywhere there is a population density > n / 550m, where n is the number of individuals with control over use of the weapon...
iow, if a group is out hunting or target shooting, members of that group willingly place themselves within range of the weapon.

IOW, weapons possession should be a consent-based arrangement, and no one should be in range of a weapon without consent.
that would mean you can possess weapons for self-defense in urban areas, but not weapons designed for mass casualties.

that would mean individual municipalities could define their own consent structures, but not foist them upon other municipalities.
