539 bravehearts sacrificed their life, thousand got handicapped and severely injured for lifetime to give us a celebration of Victory on glorious day.
The Valour and glory of those Stubborn Patriots Who wrapped Tiranga on themselves are immortal

The soldier posted at the borders protecting the country is martyred for the nation but he doesn’t ask what the nation did for him. He simply breathes his last for the nation and here some naive men stand up and question as to what has India
2/n #KargilVijayDiwas
#VijayDiwas
given them asserting that India has cheated upon them. To them I say, please leave the nation and find a suitable place that you can inhabit in the world which accommodates you as warmly as India does.
We live in a dismal world, a which is fighting itself
3/n #KargilVijayDiwas
along with various other battles that we are at. The countries are fighting at the global level and as we narrow down our expanse, we see an altogether different kind of struggle brewing beneath the sheets. Coming down to India,
4/n #KargilVijayDiwas
the world’s largest democracy we have our personal set of feats to accomplish. We have our foreign enemies to combat and our inner peace to restore. We are kept at our edge not only by external aggression but by recurring internal revolts too.
5/n #KargilVijayDiwas
From class, caste to religious conflicts,we have it all served on our platter. But the issue which is of grave concern to me right now is none of these; it is the mess in the valley. We live in a country which supposedly has the third largest standing army
6/n #KargilVijayDiwas
in the world and yet can’t safeguard the lives of its own military personnel. We as a country of hypocrites and pseudo-patriots do nothing but only be outrageous and furious about the death of our jawans for a couple of days and then let it pass.
7/n #KargilVijayDiwas
The malady is that we as a nation have lost our valiant fighters on the borders, not once, twice or thrice but an umpteen number of times and yet we choose to stay silent about it.
8/n #KargilVijayDiwas
Attacks at Pulwama, Uri, Pamphore, Baramulla, Kumpwara, Sukma, Bastar, the mutilation of dead bodies of soldiers like carcasses along the LoC in the Poonch Sector J&K leaves or at Siyachin and Tibbet one wondering about the volcano on which we are seated, happily. 9/n #KargilWar
One fine day when it goes off, WHOOSH! We’ll then have no nook to hold on to. Soldiers and Jwawans and we mourned their death giving the families compensations, lest realizing that a human can never be compensated by money.
10/n #KargilVijayDiwas
Is the debate on the life of our troops such a frivolous issue? Is it not worth our heed and the government’s attention? Is the issue worth only condemnation and silent witnessing without any reciprocation?
11/n #KargilVijayDiwas
The life of a a civilian is valuable but the life of a military personnel is futile? How fair is that?
I’ve come across people saying soldiers are born to die,why do they get into the forces if they fear death? To them I would like to say nobody gets into the forces to die.
12/n
We are humans and innately all of us fear death at varying degrees, that doesn’t make a soldier any less brave. The mission and sole objective of the warrior is to protect, guard and secure the boundaries of his motherland and not die at the front.
13/n #KargilVijayDiwas
Any casualty during action is altogether a different story but nobody gets recruited into the forces to die. Hence, I feel it’s high time we shun this misnomer. Yes! These valiant men bear their lives up their sleeves but that doesn’t mean their lives lose value.
14/n #Kargil
Every man lost at the border is a huge loss not only to the family concerned but also to the country at large. We need to send a befitting reply across the border. It is high time we do that. Pakistan or China needs to be brutally checked, curtailed and shown its due place. 15/n
It’s bewildering to see those bastards violate ceasefire, barge into our territory, create upheaval, shoot our soldiers, mutilate their bodies and walk away with pride. What do we do in defense? We condemn their act and mourn the deaths of the deceased,
16/n #KargilVijayDiwas
have a bit of limelight on the issue, let the rage die, calm down, forget and wait for another slap on our face. They do it right on our face and we? Do nothing about it.The anguish is deep and piercing because the response that we get and that we gladly accept.
17/n #KargilVijay
After the leave, when a soldier returns back to the field or the check post or the battalion,he doesn’t even know if he’ll be able to retrace his steps back to home ever. I've seen army men took this risk each time they left back home with great pride and glow on their face.18/n
The life of every soldier in a risky terrain is beyond our imagination. Premonitons of an ambush or an open fire are like a part and parcel of their lives. The soldiers guard the areas round the clock, marching from one end to the other.
19/n #KargilVijayDiwas
When I saw these valorous hearts marching to and fro, I felt a sense of pride, security and affection. We as a nation owe our peaceful slumber to the sleepless nights of these warriors.
Brimming with zeal, zest and fervor to serve the nation, you’d never see these men gloomy
20/n
or dejected. They have no truck with death, instead they carry their lives on their palms each day. Their life each day is a celebration unto death. No amount of applause can ever substitute the sacrifice these men do for our motherland. The sense of selfless devotion
21/n
and commitment that there warriors exhibit can never be penned down in words. From serving in freezing cold climate of Leh to the daunting atmosphere of Bastar, these soldiers don’t shy away from laying their lives for India.Their martyrdom is a reward for the free air that
22/n
we breathe. Each time that soldiers leave for a mission, they perhaps bid their ultimate farewell to their kith and kin. You never know, perhaps the man who has promised to come back and fulfill the incomplete wishes never comes home.
23/n
I grieve each time I listen of an ambush, underground mines planted, a terrorist attack, an open fire, a tussle with the naxals because I have my heros serving there.Shivers run down my spine each time I think of a soldier being shot and pumping body turning into a carcass.
24/n
Shrouded with the national flag when a martyr arrives, all we can do is to bow down to salute this departed soul. .
.

Jai Hind
