This aesthetic is called Shtetlcore.

We need more, just saying.
Another example

And yet another

And although it's a great song, no, 'My Shtetl's Calling' is not Shtetlcore

And this is just the proof that when you make a great song, you can literally just film the video in the studio itself and it's still an absolute banger

I have seen a lot of confusion regarding Zionism and it's relationship to Judaism recently, so I made an in-depth thread to explain the basic differences & similarities.
When someone posts that 'Judaism & Zionism are indivisible part of each others' or that 'Torah was always Zionists', it makes a lot of Orthodox Jews uncomfortable, but not for the reasons you might think. And it makes a lot of non-religious Jews look at Orthodox Jews askance.
Defining terms is one of the most important tool prior to a debate or discussion, and the fact that there is a lack of defining terms when it comes to Zionism leads to confusion and unnecessary frictions.

There are actually three different discourses on Zionism:

Houria Bouteldja is a notorious antisemite. Anyone familiar with her name knows just how hateful & marginal she is.

liberation.fr/debats/2016/05…
marianne.net/societe/medias…
algemeiner.com/2020/12/30/fre…
lepoint.fr/debats/l-invra…

Her antisemitism only compounds how horrible this quote is:
Bouteldja is Algerian.

The Jews of Algeria were ethnically cleansed from North Africa & to this day, Algerian is the most hateful and antisemitic country there.

After the 62 Independence, Algerian Jews (with a nearly 2000 years history in the country) were refused citizenship.
Over 95% of the Jews had to leave.

In 74, they seized every single Synagogue except for one, and turned them all into mosques.

In 94, war was declared by the GIA jihadists against the remaining (less than 1,000) Jews of Algeria, who had to flee, aside from a few dozens.

In Judaism, we have many concepts such as shatnez, basar b'chalav or kilayim, about not mixing things that shouldn't be mixed together.

If you have decided to use your social media to pursue Jewish or Israel advocacy, it's probably a good idea for you not to bring up politics.
Not just politics, but to stay away from any topics that could be controversial & not linked to the advocacy you pursue.

You might think that your opinion on Presidents, vaccines, or the Giants are really important, but ask yourself: is it worth turning away someone as a result?
At the end of the day, nothing is more important for me than Jews & Judaism, so the idea that I wouldn't be able to advocate for my people & for my land because someone disagreed on something secondary or ultimately irrelevant, and blocked me as a result goes against that goal.

Here's why it's very unlikely we will see peace or a second-state solution implemented, a (very depressing but necessary) thread
The Two State Solution is dead:

According to recent polls (last summer):

55.5% of people in Gaza, Judea & Samaria oppose or strongly oppose the idea
65.2% believe it is not a viable solution

This is to a hypothetical 2SS solution, when you get into details....
80% of them oppose a demilitarized democratic state, equal land exchange, family unification in Israel of 100k refugees, EJ their capital & WJ of Israel, the end of the conflict, guarantees of implementation by the US & Arab states, comprehensive regional peace with Arab states

Debunking colonialist lies and erasure of Jewish History from the land of Israel, a thread
There are few things colonizers love more than erasing the history of people they colonized, change the names of their land & cities, and then pretend that it was always theirs. That's what we see today with these attempts to rebrand Israel
1) Tzfat

The area where Tzfat is located is in the territory of Naftali, as described in Sefer Shoftim (Judges). It is mentioned both by Josephus and the Jerusalem Talmud as a Jewish city during the 2nd Temple era.

Verdict: Not a palestinian city.

Debunking anti-Israel lies and the use of Sefaradim & Mizrachim as tokens in antizionist propaganda, a thread
1) Ethiopians were sterilized

Claims were made in the early 2000s that, unkowningly, hundreds of Ethiopian women had been given Depo-Provera, a contraceptive that lasts only for 2 to 3 months. So, no, that's not forced sterilization to begin with.
Women who were given the injection were asked by if they were able to give birth after the injection. All of them answered yes. In 2016, the State Controller did a long inquiry in the matter & found that no woman had been forced.
