Forbes money in politics reporter discovers the American Veterans Initiative and Police Coalition of America ScamPACs.
(His mind is going to be absolutely blown when he finds out about the other couple dozen charity telemarketing ScamPACs that may not be entirely on the up-and-up).
He also missed two of League's other ScamPACs, but I'm not going to do his job for him.

Mid-year FEC report shows at least some donors have forgiven the Lincoln Project for the pederasty-enabling and the wholesale grifting in the pursuit of generational wealth transgressions, contributing $4.8M to the scandal-plagued group.
While Lincoln Project brought in $4.8M, the operating expenses of $8.5M suggest there might be an incipient panicked rush for the exits, with everyone involved grabbing everything that isn't nailed down on the way out.
Lincoln Project spent $1.37M on non-political media buys, spent $1.12M on its streaming services, and paid over $964K on legal fees and $610K on communication consulting as it struggled to repair its battered reputation. Image

The mid-year ScamPAC filings are still coming in, but there's a new and growing problem for money in politics reporters trying to keep tabs on political independent expenditures in House and US Senate races. A quick thread...
Over the last few years, there has been an explosion in the number of charity telemarketing scamPACs soliciting money for causes that pull at the heartstrings.
reuters.com/investigates/s…
These groups typically rake in millions from small donors, then plow nearly all of the money they raised back into fundraising, siphoning off most of what remains for themselves and spending little to nothing on political expenditures.

Weeks after CA's prison guards union successfully negotiated a new agreement awarding its workers $5,000 pandemic bonuses, it cuts a $1.75 million check to Gavin Newsom's anti-recall committee.

Factoring in the CCPOA's $1.75M, the $500,000 from SEIU-UHW, and $5K from Rep. Judy Chu, Gavin Newsom's anti-recall committee should be at around $36.2 million in total receipts.
More six-figure checks to Gavin Newsom's anti-recall committee--$250,000 from the American Federation of Teachers union and $200,000 from the CA Democratic Party.

Four Republicans running in safe blue districts persuaded GOP donors to part with a combined $41.9 million in the 2020 cycle

District/Cand/Vote Share/$ Raised

#CA43 Collins 28.3% ($10.33M)
#MD07 Klacik 28.4% ($8.29M)
#NY14 Cummings 27.4% ($11.15M)
#MN05 Johnson 25.9% ($12.16M)
Collins' campaign racked up $68,000 in Delta Flights, $30,000 in Uber & Lyft rides, spent tens of thousands at an assortment of luxury hotels and restaurants across the country, and funneled hundreds of thousands in consulting fees to LLCs of questionable provenance.
Cummings' campaign against AOC in #NY14 seems to have existed primarily to ensure direct mail vendors maintained a steady supply of boats and vacation homes...

😂Lincoln Project got Democrat donors to part with $15,226,496 in the pre-election period ($81.9M to date!), with the ostensibly Republican group getting $550,000 from Chuck Schumer's Senate Majority PAC and $650,000 from dark money Democratic group Majority Forward.
After siphoning off $81.9M from Democratic donors this cycle with little to show for it, Lincoln Project's founder signals plan to continue to milk their audience for all they're worth for as long as humanly possible and files FEC paperwork for 'Lincoln24'
