The killing of a traitor Narendranath Goswami & subsequent hanging of #SatyendranathBosu.
Remembering a freedom fighter on his janma divas who sacrificed his life for Aurobindo Ghose.
Bosu was born on this day in 1882 at Midnapore, Bengal.
He was a distant relative of Aurobindo
& hailed from a well to do family.
Not much is known about his childhood, but Bosu's name finds in a police report for having an unlicenced gun in Midnapur Arms Case & subsequently served 2 months RI.
Two days after an assassination attempt was carried on Kingsford, the police
arrested 33 members of Anushilan Samithi & this trial is famously known as Alipore Bomb Case.
The British wanted to hang Aurobindo Ghosh for his involvement, but lacked evidence.
#NarendranathGoswami turned approver & started giving details about plans, hideouts and members
information which posed a threat for Revolutionaries.
Barin Ghosh, Shanti Ghosh and Ullaskar Dutta's names were mentioned in attempting to blow off the governor's train at Chandernagore station in 1908.
Referring to the bomb outrage in the Mayor's house he mentioned name of
Charu Chandra Roy, being the leader of the revolutionary outfit of Chandernagore and on 24 June mentioned names of Aurobindo Ghosh and Subodh Chandra Mullick linking to revolutionary activities.
Barin Ghosh planned to escape from jail & also kill Traitor Goswami, but escape was
difficult, Barin hatched a new plan & with the help of B C Roy, their lawyer, he procured 2 Guns inside the jail.
Narendranath Goswami was confined at European Ward in Alipore Central Jail, Satyendranath Bosu & Kanhialal Datta made Goswami believe that they too were turning as
approvers & asked him to meet in prison hospital.
As per Barin's plans both Bosu & Datta faked illness & got admitted at hospital before sending Goswami the message.
On 31st August 1908 Goswami reached hospital, Bosu & Datta shot him from a distance which injured Goswami but
was not fatal.
Goswami ran & Kanhialal pursued him and shot him to death.
On 21st October 1908, the court gave death sentence for Kanhaialal & life imprisonment for Bosu.
The British who couldn't prosecute Aurobindo sought death of Satyendranath Bosu too & the sessions court
judge moved high court though the jury didn't agree with death sentence.
The High Court ordered death for Bosu too.
On 10th November 1908, Kanhaialal was hanged & on 21st November, Satyendranath Bosu was hanged.

The HISTORY of a warrior who waited 21 years to take revenge for JallianwalaBagh Massacre.
Before Reading Further, Let Me 1st Introduce, How Gandhi & Nehru Responded when Udham Singh took revenge...
Although almost all Bharatiyas ImageImage
regarded Singh's actions as a response to some brutal aspects of British colonial rule, officially, his actions were deplored and condemned in India, with Gandhi referring to Singh's actions as "an act of insanity", stating: "The outrage has caused me deep pain. I regard it as
an act of insanity. I hope this will not be allowed to affect political judgement.".
Nehru wrote in The National Herald, "The assassination is regretted but it is earnestly hoped that it will not have far-reaching repercussions on the political future of India."

National Commission for Minority Education Institutes (NCMEI) was established by Antonio Maino government in 2004 through an Ordinance..
This body cannot have a Hindu as its member or chairperson as per Section 4 of the NCMEI Act.
In 2011, the NCMEI awarded the coveted minority
status to Jamia after which the university scrapped the reservations for SCs/STs.

Earlier, we used to have 30-40 per cent strength of non-Muslims in each programme. Now, it’s barely 10-15 per cent. And now that the religious composition of the staff has changed, they have
increased the reservation for children of Jamia employees in admissions,” a professor at Jamia tells Swarajya on the condition of anonymity for he doesn’t feel safe to voice his opinion.

The minuscule minority of Hindu students and teachers that is left at Jamia, can no longer

” When the only
Bharatiya in the viceroy’s council made his way back to Madras after his resignation, it was an ovation all the way, the like of which had never been seen before in India. There were feasts and entertainments wherever the train stopped and crackers were fired under the wheels
