1) On April 7 2018, 43 plus civilians were killed in alleged chemical weapon attack in Douma, Syria. Even at the time notable voices raised substantial doubts about the claim the Syrian government was responsible. @aaronjmate @MaxBlumenthal

3) At the same time @thetimes initiated a crude smear campaign against academics researching the war in Syria, a crude smear campaign that @IndexCensorship is carrying on in their latest publication.
4) Since then a large volume of information has become available showing that the official narrative regarding Douma is fraudulent. Even before the final report was published @bbc producer @Dalatrm reported staging of hospital scenes

5) A leaked engineering assessment passed to academics raised substantial questions as to whether cylinders alleged to be the source of the chlorine gas had been dropped from Syrian Air Force helicopters:- syriapropagandamedia.org/working-papers…
6) This and other evidence from the team that deployed to Douma raised serious doubts as to the compatibility of the damage to this roof and the damage observed on the cylinder head.
7) Another issue concerned a second location and the impossible bounce across a bedroom for a chlorine cylinder. All of this evidence indicated that the cylinders were never dropped from a Syrian Air Force helicopter:- @CL4Syr @MichaKobs
