Good evening! There’s yet another anti mask demonstration outside Harlowe in West Hollywood, which have been going on for several days. As they prepared, there were several crackles that sounded like tasers. Yesterday, the group sent @VPS_Reports to the emergency room.

Here’s a thread with several overlapping videos showing him being surrounded, chased, pushed and struck.

Seeing several in tactical vests, several weopon pouches, several knives among the anti vaccine group. Several obstructing their faces with umbrellas and flag gaiters. Several “lookie loos” nearby.

One of the anti-mask protestors currently walking around with a sign that says “Vaccine passport - No No” and a Star of David.

Group beginning to get more aggressive: putting signs in the camera and face of a @N2Sreports videographer.

Members of the group began running towards me, several armed. Seeing some brass knuckles. Backed into the first open door available, which happened to be a Trader Joe’s. Several followed inside, several other photogs were ended up inside. Many in the crowd waiting outside.

Slipped out the back door, and am to safety.

Anti-maskers still outside as of about 9:15.

Spoke w/ Lt. Aguirre of LASD WeHo. (1) Asked if they’ve heard complaints:
“Received mainly noise complaints, received isolated reports from the public involving possible acts of violence but haven’t been able to confirm that yet”

Spoke w/ Lt. Aguirre of LASD WeHo. (2) Asked why Unlawful Assembly was called last night (the night @VPS_Reports was hospitalized from injuries), “there were reports of assaults with pepper spray. A person from one group assaulted protestors from another group.”

Asked about Trader Joe’s earlier today? “We were told it was uneventful”

This video was sent my way. It does appear as though it was taken today, based on the clothing of many of the participants matching earlier today and would have occurred at dusk. Not sure what happened earlier as the source is down but the man is kicked and pushed into a tree.

This appears to be the first video of interest. A man (let’s call it a counter-protestor, despite seeming to be alone) shoves one of the anti-mask protestors who was shouting via megaphone. The counter protestor is then caught and restrained while several kick and punch him.

With this in mind, it’s clear that they were filming and hadn’t committed any violent acts beforehand.

Good evening! I’m OTG at the Getty House / Mayor’s Mansion, where activists are planning to protest the signing of amendment 41.18, which would prohibit prohibit "sitting, lying, or sleeping or storing, using, maintaining, or placing personal property in the public right-of-way."

Seeing some unmarked cars patrolling the area and one vehicle just parked inside the lot.

Good afternoon! I was OTG for a protest “in solidarity with the people of Cuba” at the Walk Of Fame in Hollywood. Many signs saying “#soscuba ,” American / Cuban flags, and chants of “Cuba Libre.”

A few people with Threeper tattoos are mixed in the crowd as well.

Crowd got to about 40-50 people at its peak, with demonstrators walking into the intersection when the traffic lights allowed.

Definitely some diverse opinions- some are in favor of reforming the government, some in favor of anti-Communist revolution, some calling Miguel Díaz-Canel to step down. Common statements revolve around a perceived inability of the government to provide food and handle COVID.

Greetings! I was OTG at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, where a froup of activists / legal team and the family of Nick Burgos had a press conference and short march

Arnoldo Casillas, one of the attorneys working for the family: “It’s amazing to all of us here that they would put two armed police officers to guard another police officer immediate next to a ward where you have mental health patients in crisis”

“Law enforcement should never, ever be the first filter when dealing with patients,” says the lead attorney working for the Burgos family.

Good morning! I’m here at a protest and counter-protest at WI SPA- recently a viral video of a woman upset at a trans woman attending the spa and being naked was released, which led to the story being featured on many programs like Tucker Carlson. One right leaning man is leaving

Several more right wing protestors have arrived- currently the numbers stand at about 40 supporting the WISPA business, with 3 protesting the business but the protest against the business is in a few hours

Good evening! I’m here at the Newton Police Station, where a press conference is being held “to demand answers and accountability for the detonation of a reportedly ten pound explosive Wednesday…” according to the @CMTYCtrlPolice Instagram page.

One woman, who says she is from the South LA community says “If they really cared for the community, they would have handled it a lot better,” touches on what she feels has been bias in the community.

Crowd is about 30-40, including media present. LAPD officers in front of the entrance to the building. Several LAPD cruisers on a nearby corner with “riot gear,” helmets on dashboard.
