𝘼𝙮𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙙𝙖 is a Sanskrit word that refers to the ‘science of life and longevity’. ‘𝘼𝙮𝙪𝙧’ means life and ‘𝙑𝙚𝙙𝙖’ means knowledge.
@Sanjay_Dixit @VandanaJayrajan @Aabhas24 @tripathisam2020 @Aadhiraspeaks @vanitajain21 @vonbrauckmann
𝘼𝙮𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙙𝙖, is a 5000-year-old ancient Vedic medicine system that has its roots deeply entrenched in the rich, Indian landscape. It is the only medicinal system in the world that follows preventive + curative methodology.

@smita_muk @gopugoswami @jamwal_rocky @JIX5A
The base of Ayurvedic philosophy is to balance the body, mind and spirit. According to 𝘼𝙮𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙙𝙖, each person is born with a life force that comprises the five elements or building blocks of nature: Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Space.
@priyathedentico @nutan_jyot
We possess a unique balance of these five elements in varying degrees. This balance of elements is known as a Dosha. There are three fundamental doshas: 𝙑𝙖𝙩𝙖,𝙋𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙖 and 𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙖, and good health is considered to be a perfect state of balance between
@JustNoopur
these three doshas. 𝙑𝙖𝙩𝙖 is constituted by space and air, which is the energy of movement; fire and water constitute pitta, 𝙋𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙖 is constituted by fire & water which is the principle of digestion and metabolism;
@Maithili__ @UshaNirmala @parvathimenon @atropized_m2
𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙖 is constituted by water & earth, the dosha of structure and lubrication.Unhealthy diet, stress, repressed emotions and insufficient exercise are considered to be elements that disturb ones’ doshic balance. Hence, to maintain the balance and good

health, a person has to juggle with the three doshas, and increase or decrease them, as conditions demand.Hope you will like this article .

#Moon_Receives_Light_From_Sun

We were taught that by western scholars that moon receives light from sun as this is mentioned in our textbooks

@VandanaJayrajan @Sanjay_Dixit @Aabhas24 @tripathisam2020 @Aadhiraspeaks @MissSingh04 @Aadishakti_101 @youngndharmic Image
yes it is true that moon receives light from sun but the question arises that it was discovered by western scholars or not So for this, we need to go in the past and check
@Anshulspiritual @Dvya_RA_ThORe @gopalgo30649592 @DharmoRakshathi @BesuraTaansane @atropized_m2 Image
whether we get any trace that moon receives light from sun. Let’s check the world’s oldest Hindu text Rigveda. Rigveda Says:

RV 10/85/9

Why do we ring the bell in a temple?
Is it to wake up the Lord? But the Lord never sleeps. Is it to let the Lord know we have come? He does not need to be told, as He is all knowing.
@Sanjay_Dixit @Aabhas24 @Aadishakti_101 @VandanaJayrajan @MissSingh04 @tripathisam2020
Is it a form of seeking permission to enter His precinct? It is a homecoming and therefore entry needs no permission. The Lord welcomes us at all times. Then why do we ring the bell?
@gopugoswami @BesuraTaansane @Aadhiraspeaks @smita_muk @iamvinitshinde @jamwal_rocky @pdkamath
The ringing of the bell produces what is regarded as an auspicious sound. It produces the sound Om, the universal name of the Lord. There should be auspiciousness within and without, to gain the vision of the Lord who is all-auspiciousness.

Why do we do Namaste?
Indians greet each other with namaste. The two palms are placed together in front of the chest and the head bows whilst saying the word namaste. This greeting is
@Sanjay_Dixit @Aabhas24 @VandanaJayrajan @ShefVaidya @fgautier26 @_frida_most_
for all - people younger than us, of our own age, those older than friends, even strangers and us.
There are five forms of formal traditional greeting enjoined in the shaastras of which namaskaram is one.
@iamvinitshinde @MYNKBHRDWJ @brahman_kanya @_Just_A_Soul__ @JAIN_24T
This is understood as prostration but it actually refers to paying homage as we do today when we greet each other with a namaste.
Namaste could be just a casual or formal greeting, a cultural convention or an act of worship.
