Tesla FORMALLY notified me Saturday that there's a car waiting for me at Mount Kisco.
Mount Kisco is 350 mi from me.
I first found out that this car had been built on Monday when I got a call from the carrier direct rep asking if I wanted the car shipped to me.
I'd originally ordered the car for March-April delivery, and waved It off when in February they told me the car had arrived and that I would need to pick it up in the middle of a snowstorm.
I have a car to trade in, and have been waiting since Wednesday for them to give me a value.
The text invite a reply. But apparently the reply goes in the rubbish bin.
I'm still waiting for action on their end, meanwhile I'm now getting these threatening text messages, which again, I HAVE REPLIED TO to no effect...
It looks like the car I have for trade has significant value in the retail market...
And I can personally confirm that it has high value in the wholesale/trade in market.
I have the cash for the difference in price if Tesla gets close to the CarMax offer, and can make the steel happen tomorrow.
I don't have cash for the whole car, or for the difference for that matter if they don't give me a reasonable offer.
@Tesla I get it that corrupt politicians in New York make this and even worse experience for consumers, but it feels like you're not doing much to help.
On 11/6/17 I attended a seminar: Pursuit & Discovery of Vehicle Electrification Markets presented by Mark Mathias, Director of Fuel Cell R&D at General Motors
