Our business fixes problem houses.

We provide education, diagnostics, comprehensive design, work scopes, and quality control/assurance.

We also track outcomes.

We always offer an Electrification path.

The greatest barrier to Electrification?...
It is NOT the consumer.

We consulted with @drvox on his home renovation.

Anyone think he ran a gas line and committed his home to Fossil Fuels for the foreseeable future because he didn't WANT to electrify?

NFW....
IT'S THE CONTRACTOR.

Over and over we see consumers across the country discouraged from Electrification by contractors.
This isn't an evil conspiracy.

Electrification requires diagnostics, design, and at least in the beginning, some bravery.

These are not small barriers.
We have found a few HVAC contractors brave enough to implement our designs, and that took hard work.

Unpaid, hard work.

They don't have the tools or process to do it themselves. But they've seen the outcomes, the thrilled customers, so they are happy to implement our designs.
So devising a way to grow consumer demand without having a process for delivering the diagnostics or design so the contractors can be assured they're making good recommendations will fail.

From painful experience we have learned the problem is supply, not demand.
I think homeowners like @Guay_JG will back me up on the fact that getting HVAC contractors interested in installing Air Source Heat Pumps is an exhausting task.

That someone like @drvox tried to get it done and met so much resistance that he GAVE UP!
So what @energysmartohio and I have done is we have created a process that puts stairways where there were walls.

It is a process we call HVAC 2.0.

Almost 50 HVAC contractors around the country have completed our 30+ question application.
These great contractors want to deliver better choices to their clients.

They want a process that allows the client to have choices instead of hearing them away from options they might be interested in.

A process that helps uncover problems, and provides a pathway to solutions.
We think solving the process problem is the path to Electrification.

AFTER solving the supply bottleneck, that is when marketing to consumers will make sense.

Doesn't marketing a service that exists make more sense than marketing one that doesn't?
