This is crap. Here's why.

Half of the states (25) report on breakthroughs. But only 15 regularly update.

But all 25 are included in the data.

Only half of the states, you say? Who is missing?

How do we have good data when we don't have those states that are absolutely on fire?

We don't.

More importantly, the observation period is from January to July.

Delta was at 10% in the beginning of June.

So, KFF has compared some unknown amount of D614G with Alpha with Delta.

Not to mention, it does not account when the vaccines roll-out happened in each state.

So, trying to compare vaccinated and unvaccinated with this data is like comparing apples and capybaras.
