This is news in today's Midday.. I almost fell down from chair as I read this.. This news is just a symptom of the rot in our society in the name of privacy, freedom and parenting failure to say the least. Many points came to mind. Sharing in next tweets.. Let's discuss these🙏+

The girl is living WITH her parents.
The girl is only 16 year old not adult as yet..
Has boyfriend of 25 years..
Is sexually active enough to get pregnant.
She actually managed to HIDE her pregnancy from her mother for 9 months and got herself delivered in a second floor flat+

She MANAGED her pregnancy by wearing loose clothes..

I am simply shocked to read this. Her mother couldn't notice the girl didn't have her periods for 8 months? Didn't question to her at all? What kind of privacy is this?

She successfully hid her baby bump from her parents? +

So parents are so busy that they didn't even look at their child properly keenly for all these months to notice her tummy becoming bigger? No amount loose clothes can hide baby bump of a 16 year old after 6 months. Is this parenting and so called giving space to kids we want? +

No communication, no fear nothing between parents and girl. A 16 year old dares to have sex with a 25 year old boyfriend. This is shocking in first place for so called old fashioned people like me.. She is young but boy is old enough atleast to know to use protection atleast. +

But he just made her pregnant and seem didn't try abortion also.. There are so many ways now to avoid pregnancies.. First crime was conceive like this and second is killing of that innocent child after birth.
I mean here married 30 year old girls are so much afraid at thought +

Of delivery process and here this 16 year old brave girl not Only carried her child without letting any one know, had herself delivered in a toilet🙄.. She didn't cried yelled at all? These are so much unbelievable things for me atleast. +

This is just a symptom of where we are going as a society. That's why I actually laugh when people laud our culture, glorious past here on twitter. What is happening on ground is far from what we can imagine is far murkier
Here fact is I pill is sold more than condoms like candy+

Urban educated young old alike people including girls are heard of saying यार condom मे मजा नहीं आता। another level is boy saying to the girlfriend if you really love me you won't force to use protection.. This is not fiction but facts.. These educated idiots are so much unaware+

Of other risks apart from pregnancy when it comes to unprotected sex.. How much will govt do to educate? What can we expect from lesser educated rural people if urban are like this? What are solutions for this societal rot we are going through? Time to become stricter parents +

Like our parents were? Start living in smaller houses so that these useless concept of privacy and space are thrown out of only window of the hall? I mean we wanted to progress as society and worked very hard to uplift financially. We are raising our kids with so much love+

And that guilt in our minds that we will give everything to out kids which our parents couldn't. Where are we going wrong that such generation is raised. All are not like that but still this has to be weeded out at early stages only. Before we become like American society +

Where teenage pregnancy is a norm. I don't want India to go that way. This generation is so lucky to have maximum choices of careers, totally cooperative parents, no responsibilities at home and above all a very sensitive govt to support every talent and innovator. +

Please please don't ruin your lives just like that.. Speaking frankly..

Work on yourself be something you and family would be proud of in young age first.. Everything else will automatically follow.
