The accounts were frequently tweeting at @GovRonDeSantis and @10tampabay. Hundreds of inauthentic accounts were coordinating their pro-Cameron messaging and spamming the hashtags. We observed some automated activity, but humans controlled most of the inauthentic accounts...
We determined at least 40% of the inauthentic accounts we were monitoring were located in several countries in the Middle East. We reported the first batch of accounts we identified to Twitter, and Twitter suspended 521 accounts. Twitter then suspended another 86 accounts...

Notice in this thread, newly created accounts are claiming they are not bots and they are "human." I clearly stated many of the accounts are human controlled.
A common tactic used by fake accounts is to insist "they are not bots" and provide "evidence." It is important for journalists and reporters to use the term "inauthentic accounts" instead of "bots." Nefarious individuals and agencies pay foreigners to post on social media...
In this thread, you can observe a few dozen foreign accounts using a similar script. Ask yourself this question, why would people in the Middle East be concerned about Cameron Herrin? Most people in the United States have never even heard about him or his case.
