It requires you to make a paradigm shift to understand the size and scope of what’s happening.

The common denominator between all these actors is their wealth. They are all part of the 1%. In fact they are part of the 10% of the 1%. They are some of the richest people.

Climate change is an existential threat. You know that intellectually, but what does that mean?

The wealthiest people on earth are the creators of this problem. It’s what made them wealthy in the first place.

They don’t have a death wish.

To them, the vast majority of human beings are no more valuable than ants who make up an anti hill. They consider most of us superfluous.

What’s the quickest way to drastically reduce the amount of GHG produced? Eliminate the people creating GHG.

This was demonstrated during the first few months of covid. Everything came to a halt. No planes, few cars, factories shut down.

In fact removing them may need to be done to make an impact quicker than centuries or a millennium. Experimental technology is being created to do block sunlight.

@_Norwegian_Blue @mpdmaggs @BarbLarochelle @sshistorygal Eliminating large swaths of the human species would give scientists time to develop technology to deplete the accumulated GHG. But not change the lifestyles of those at the top of the hierarchy, much.

That’s what is happening. Sounds crazy. And it is. It’s diabolical.

Culling the majority of the human race to remain in power, maintaining most of their lifestyle and continue to produce fossil fuels until a better fuel/energy source can be found has been the pursuit of big oil for decades.

Big oil knows the outcome of overproducing GHG. It’s climate change. Yet big oil has spent billions to convince enough people to doubt climate change is real or man made.

Why?

Every year we can expect worse. More and more will die.

Entire societies will collapse due to water and food shortages. It’s already occurring. Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, Honduras, Ecuador, Guatemala. The populations in these nations are dying.

Babies in cages, children sent to concentration camps, mistreatment of those seeking asylum. But Trump isn’t the only one doing that.

It’s happening globally. Incrementally worsening to desensitize people to mass deaths and suffering.

There are people unmoved by the deaths of many others because of this virus. We all witnessed Italy in horror so many months ago. But hospitals and healthcare systems being forced to triage is common now.

What has died in a person that is fine sacrificing children? Their humanity. Their empathy.

People just think I’m seeking attention. They don’t realize what I’ve sacrificed to do this.

It requires you to acknowledge there are people in the world who are capable of terrible evil. None of us want to think about how evil some people can be. Most of us have never met anyone truly evil.

Most people see movies about outrageous evil characters. And then believe that that level of evil is rare and few and far between.

Personality disorders (like malignant narcissism) are not rare.

That’s no longer true.

What it requires is an open mind, acknowledgement of evil people, and a commitment to examine the evidence.

And little effort to learn what’s fact and what’s fiction. It’s not that hard if you put in the effort. And I’ve collected so much evidence it’s overwhelming.

And we need to get organized.
