LexisNexis is a legal data provider, interested in becoming a #Chainlink node operator π
Store 2PB of legal law data from the US, 50,000 different providers of that data, serve the legal market
Smart contracts can query legal questions on companies with this data
Would like to see all of LexisNexis legal law data be brought on-chain and used in smart contracts
Decision making information, near term more info about companies (legal news data, M&A deals, business reputation)
Maintain SEC filings, leadership of companies, etc
Rule of law: quality of law, accessibility to the law, transparency of the law, access to independent judiciary
Create scores based on these metrics
Well known and respected oracle can bring law data on-chain, create transparency in law, bring rule of law score higher
LexisNexis is worldwide, parent company RELX has scientific data as well
Bring access to LexisNexis data by putting it on-chain
Establish contracts and access to legal system in an automated way
Contracts get signed and put into a drawer today, having a process to monitor that contract is key
Supply or demand driven?
We serve our customers (lawyers and law firms), customer first at LexisNexis, lot of law firms are entering smart contract arena, more SC deals occuring
Listen to customers, think smart contracts will continue to grow in usage, reached into law firms, want to provide the service and info to customers so they can be comfortable
