It just igs me that we have to bribe and beg Americans to take free COVID vaccines that people in the Caribbean, Latin America and on the African continent desperately want but their governments can't afford them. The arrogance and privilege are just mind-bogglingly repugnant.

America doesn't have to be in this pandemic nightmare. We're here because millions of Americans are CHOOSING to lock us in here with them in this ignorant, sick space.

These people are gwacking down McDonald's and Coca-Cola but going, "I don't know what's in the vaccine..." 🙄They eat the craziest crap without a second thought and take whatever pills their doctor prescribes without asking a question or "doing their (Facebook BS) "research."

And if they do get COVID they will be begging for whatever experimental treatment is available and asking NEAR question about what's in it before sticking out their arm and getting it in them. And they'll expect insurance to cover it, meaning the rest of us pay to save them.

It's exhausting, y'all. It feels like this pandemic is never going to end, because too many of us won't let it end. The ignorance and obstinance are just enervating. It's draining away my compassion. Maybe it's just me...

I just came back from Jamaica, where you have to have a negative COVID test to enter and leave, and where they make you take serious precautions to enter any indoor space. They are less than 5 percent vaxxed. My godmother is there now, vaxxed and taking ALL the precautions.

We just talked today about all she would have to do to attend a funeral on Tuesday. Meanwhile my whole South Africa family -- my uncle, his wife and his adult kids ALL have COVID. They WISH they had Pfizer and Moderna available there but they didn't. Can we send ours there???

I spoke to my uncle while we were in Cabo. They'll survive it but only by the grace of God. I'm tired, y'all. Aren't you tired? We're carrying millions of Americans who don't give a damn that there's a massive, deadly and aggressive virus that's killing men, women and kids. SMDH.

If this is American "exceptionalism," please count me out.
