#Thread How to make a full blown protest out of absolutely nothing (a pretty harmless video) - Iranian Style
Prologue
Junqan, a town with the population of 14K, in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. Most Iranians had not heard its name before today.
Preface
This man, admittedly brave and named Habib Fadaee, went on a soapbox 20 days ago to state his support for the people of Khuzestan and their protests.
The video was circulated in the social media although we did not know much more. Obviously people forgot about it.
ACT I - the security forces decide to arrest him this morning, as now protests are over and they need to show him who is the boss.
This resulted in a protests by the locals of Junqan - here is his son recording this video.
ACT II - people demand his release and start gathering in the main sqaure closing the roads
ACT III - authorities do not back down (god forbid), and the locals start burning tyres and carry on the protest.
They gather around the town's police station and then the police feel threatended and they call for backup and start shooting in the air.
Interlude - shooting? Well they are afraid of this granny who is saying that "people are hungry, their children are hungry"
ACT IV - The backup forces are the antiriot unit and now the protesters prevent them to enter the town.
A proper standoff
ACT V - the antiriot forces could not enter the town but they enter a neighbouring village to take positions possibly waiting for command from above.
ACT VI - This is different now and the people are not gonna back down and they have taken control of the town.
ACT VII - This is nightfall in Junqan, it looks like a war town. People have set up barricades and they are ready to defend their honour.
Epilogue - Who knows what is gonna happen tomorrow... this has now escalated into a full blown protest. It is likely that antiriot forces will use force... more victims, more arrests?
Where are you going, Islamic Republic of Iran?

Good night and thanks for reading
#BREAKING HAPPY ENDING!
Habib Fadaee is released! After a day of arrest, security forces backed down - a very rare case.
This is a possibly a sign that in the current climate, it is not possible to put any more pressure on people.
A recipe for other demands? We will see /end
PS:
Today, he is a hero. A living hero, something Iranians haven't had for some time.
It then, however, turned out to be the work of Islamic Republic's own intelligence ministry. They finally accepted that an "autonomous cell" within the ministry led by Saied Emami had gone rogue and planned and executed the attack.
With that in the back of Iranian minds, terrorist attack on Shah Cheragh shrine in Shiraz was immediately dismissed as the work of the Islamic Republic itself, especially considering the timing (protests).
But it is undeniable that ISIS has claimed responsibility and released 👇
Today, dozens of cities around the world will witness human chains of Iranians extending for miles.
This has been planned for London too, sadly I do not feel well enough to go.
After weeks and weeks of reactive handling of the protests in the hope of them fizzling out, today the regime is planning to use today's burial procession of Shiraz terrorist attack victims to take the initiative back again.
IRGC Commander again declared the end of protests.
As you can see from the images above, even for a neutral event where everyone would condemn such cowardly terrorist attack (and I do too), the regime failed to bring masses to the street.
Believe me I chose busiest pics, check them for yourself.
#BREAKING The country is in turmoil and it feels like the regime is losing the grip - which is not necessarily good news since this might mean we enter a military phase.
People are reported to be in control of Town of Mahabad in Kurdistan
Funny thing is that taghvim.com website used commonly by Iranians says today is 30th of Rabi al-Awwal. All other calendars say today is 1st of Rabi-ali-Thaani.
It cannot be ISIS!
My Arab followers, can you please tell me what day it is according to Hijri calendar?
Some calendars I found say 28th, some 29th, some 1st ...
#IranProtests2022 5th week of incessant protests (29th day) starting today with reports of ongoing protests in Karaj, Rashst, Hamedan and Shahinshahr.
It is 1:30 PM local time.
This is students today in Sanandaj.
In Ardabil where a high school student was allegedly beaten to death (we have not yet been able to confirm or disprove) protesters have clashed with the security forces.
