Definitely read this thread.

All appointments to military leadership are at the pleasure of the GG/PM.

No explanation is required to appoint a different person to the position of authority. That’s the nature of the top of the hierarchy. No guarantees.
It would be odd, under the circumstances, of PMJT and Minister of Defence, Harjjit Sajjan, permitted the Admiral to return to his previous position.

There wasn’t enough evidence to proceed with charges does not mean there wasn’t evidence of wrong doing.
So the Admiral’s lawyer is calling a showdown of power. Laying the expectation that the Admiral should return to his previous post as confirmation of his name being cleared. Except, his name hasn’t been cleared. It’s in the nebulous zone.
Nebulous because the public ca never be sure whether he’s a criminal or victim of false accusations.

Certainly revealing how inadequate the current military based investigative infrastructure is in responding to complaints of misconduct. Especially at the top of the hierarchy.
How does an investigator gather and assess evidence when the person you’re investigating is the person you report to directly. Which of course you serve at his/her pleasure?

Revealing the inherent conflict in military and law enforcement policing itself.
I dare say the Admiral’s return to his old job is a measure of LPC leadership.

If they allow the Admiral to walk back into the position, they’re demonstrating allegiance to an established and well known “Old Boys” club mentality. The Admiral’s name wasn’t cleared.
Pretending his name was cleared will send a message of complicity and tacit approval to every victim and whistleblower in the Armed Forces and the entire Public Service. As well as remove any doubt whether LPC has a feminist agenda.
But there are also those at the ready to smear LPC and the new GG of the Admiral is NOT returned to his previous position. Accusations of pandering to lefty feminists. Destroying an Admiral’s career, showing lack of leadership by catering to cancel culture.
I’m positive they’re already wrong their responses to be instantly deployed if that is LPC’s decision.

I really hope PMJT and Minister Sajjan step up & make the best decision. When there is doubt, it’s best to err on the side of caution. Which means the Admiral is done leading.
I think they’ll do the right thing. But I’m not 100% certain.

An interesting event right before an election is supposed to be called.

I’m curious to know the answer.

Please read this embedded article.

Surveillance of people is a contravention of their human rights.

Yet it happens everyday. Not just by NSO Pegasus spyware.

This is Big Tech’s business model: the surveillance of every human being to more accurately predict their behaviour.
The UN flagged this as a problem in 2019.

Here’s the report that was generated at the time.

documents-dds-ny.un.org/doc/UNDOC/GEN/…

The ability to surveil human beings, without their knowledge & permission, then use that data to shape their behaviour or reveal their activities is dangerous.
Every person online is targeted. What was once private personal experience now surpasses oil in value.

Smart phones have become tracking devices and cameras and microphones are accessible to surveillance. There are no laws adequately restraining this behaviour and capacity.

I’d like people to see the numbers of people that have rejected democracy outright here in western Canada. All different denominations. Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, Reformed, etc.

Hundreds of thousands of people. Maybe millions. Urban, rural. Wealthy, low income.
First Nations evangelical Christians, an assortment of immigrants from across the globe, even Hindu & Punjabi speaking Christians.

Now I want to show you the “One Accord” that each one of these individuals have committed to uphold.

This is a technique used by manipulators to put you on defence.

Please don’t fall for it.

We are not confused.

The public is furious that our children’s lives are being put at risk.

Troubled that our public healthcare system, an essential service, is being put at risk.
Shocked that the CMOH is putting lives unnecessarily at risk.

Seriously questioning the skill and knowledge of the CMOH to make appropriate recommendations.

Do not react to her provocation. By reacting you allow her to frame and name your emotions and undermine your voice.
We set the frame. It is neither hyperbolic nor unreasonable.

Her behaviour is unconscionable.

So we put the onus back on her by framing a question.

Why is the CMOH refusing to hear the legitimate concerns of the public by undermining & minimizing their concerns?

@jvipondmd

To ensure children’s safety, they should be left at home. Or put at the front of the protest group so they can’t be touched or spit upon.

There are inherent risks with protests. Physical & emotional abuse is a possibility. Only adults should be taking those risks.
We need to educate protesters. What to expect and how to protect themselves. (Not pepper spray).

Counter protesters are expected.

Counter protesters attempting to intimidate & terrorize protesters should be recorded on video.
This is not normal times and these protesters are not the average dissenters. They are using intimidation, terrorism and extremist rhetoric to prevent protesters narratives from being heard.

I can’t believe Kenney is blaming Hajdu for the pandemic.

Is there a nation on earth that hasn’t been impacted? No.

But according to Kenney, Canada’s experience of the pandemic is all due to Minister Hajdu.

It was NOT Minister Hajdu that had a SECRET stockpile of PPE.
It was NOT Minister Hajdu that forced Kenney to reopen after the first, second and third waves too early, causing another wave. Each successively worse in morbidity and mortality.
It was NOT Minister Hajdu who egregiously lied about the numbers of partially and fully vaccinated people in Alberta to justify hosting Stampede. We still haven’t reached 70% partial vaccinated and it’s several weeks after mask mandates were removed and Stampede was held.

@_Norwegian_Blue @mpdmaggs @BarbLarochelle @sshistorygal It is a cult. An online cult. Reinforced by constant propaganda and a closed insular group.

I can see people in this thread at varying degrees of comprehension.

You sense something is wrong, people are acting strange, but you’re leery of conspiracy theories.
@_Norwegian_Blue @mpdmaggs @BarbLarochelle @sshistorygal You don’t quite buy that there is a consortium of international organized criminal cabals working to undermine world order and eliminate democracy. It sounds like a B grade James Bond movie.
@_Norwegian_Blue @mpdmaggs @BarbLarochelle @sshistorygal But as someone who has studied this phenomenon extensively for the past 5 years, I assure you, it’s real.

I have been screaming about this for years.

It requires you to make a paradigm shift to understand the size and scope of what’s happening.
