"My brother is typing this as I speak. I'm a triple amputee, lifelong Albertan in my 40s. Yesterday I had a med appointment on floor 3. Waiting for my elevator turn a man and his son came around the corner. The man said 'God - a f@cking cripple - turn away'.
"The finger pointing and name calling towards me and others like me has blownup over the past few years. Did Trump make people think its okay? Is Jason #KenneyMustGo and his MLAs continuing to make people think it is okay? I think so.
My dad didn't know I had climbed on top of our combine when I was a kid. I fell off the front while he was harvesting and ended up in the blades. 35 years of being a triple #amputee in #Alberta but right now is the worst it has ever been for verbal or physical abuse from others.
That dad calling me a f*cking cripple yesterday did not bother me much - its more common and I'm kinda used to it. It's that he did it in front of his boy. He taught his boy to be scared of me and others like me. I hate you Jason Kenney for making #Alberta worse. #ableg#abpoli
