The UCP are so dysfunctional that BC epidemiologists are attempting to inform the AB public about the expected outcome of UCP and Hinshaw policies.

It doesn’t look good.

A large 4th wave is expected in AB. Confirming the AB medical community’s extreme pushback. @jvipondmd
Our own AB public health team hasn’t been able to release predictions. Or maybe they decided why bother? If they plan to withdraw test, trace & isolate, why warn people? It just panics the public.
Albertans don’t need to wait for our provincial political system to collapse. It already has. The UCP & AHS administration have abandoned their jobs.

When other provinces healthcare information infrastructure is keeping AB informed, we are well beyond a proverbial dead canary.
We’re at the stage where we’re trying to establish if there is any living beings worth saving. Long after the collapse.

Hellooo, Calling Dr. Hinshaw @CMOH_Alberta.

Anyone still alive down there? Or has the gaslight permanently silenced AB healthcare information?
What shocks me is the denial people have in regards to the functionality of the current AHS medical officers of health.

It’s absurd at this point to have any faith in AHS Public Health announcements or the staff who hold positions within that department.
Which is precisely the objective UCP has had all along. Destroy trust in AHS as an institution and specifically Public Health.

If the public doesn’t trust Public Health officers, the government can impose whatever draconian & sadistic policy they want & claim CMOH supports it.
And the current CMOH, Dr. Hinshaw has learned a costly lesson in what happens when you bend your integrity to the will of corrupt politicians to appease them.

She has multiple bus tire treads on her back to remind her for the rest of her life.
Many of us knew the fourth wave was inevitable. I’m not even an epidemiologist, though I considered a career in statistics and evaluation until Harper got elected.

If you know anything about how viruses spread, you knew the 4th wave was inevitable when Stampede became priority.
Three times this provincial government has overseen relaxing of covid restrictions and mitigation measures. Each time they’ve been wrong. Opting to reopen too early, exacerbating the spread of covid.

It’s become obvious that science is NOT the determining factor in decisions.
But what is? Many would immediately jump to say the economy. But what is the UCP track record on the economy?

Abysmal.

Jobs? There are far fewer.

Wages? UCP is seeking to suppress them.

Stability? It’s difficult to claim stability with so many failed risky UCP investments.
It’s as foolish to trust UCP is interested in improving the AB economy as it is to think UCP is protecting public health.

So what are they doing?

Easy to answer, but difficult to gain buy in.

They’re dismantling democracy.

It’s obvious if you understand power dynamics.
UCP represents special interest groups in AB. They do NOT represent the entire population.

Most overlook this reality.

UCP represents primarily Dominionist Christian Nationalists, white supremacists, Q’Anon converts, hardline right libertarians & corporations.

That’s it.
These are the special interest groups for whom the UCP governs.

Which is completely contrary to the Westminster Parliamentary system Canada and each province has used since confederation or joining confederation.
In Westminster Parliamentary rules, Premiers and MLAs represent their riding and every person that lives within that riding. Not just the ones who voted for them or threw donations in their direction.

But that has ceased to be the norm or convention since UCP was formed.
Actually it predates the UCP. The Wildrose provincial party adopted this stance. As did the federal CPC, NDP and GPC.

These beliefs are libertarian, “public choice theory,” cynical beliefs where all politicians only work for their supporters.
The belief that all individuals within society are corrupt is the foundation of public choice theory. It’s based on the ideal of individualism, which is the foundational belief of libertarianism. Only the individual matters.
Revealing where Proportional Representation would take Canadian politics if Canadians ever opted to change electoral systems; further away from representative democracy and closer to direct democracy (also known as mob rule).
The form of “democracy” UCP (and federal opposition parties) has adopted is called “mobocracy.”

Ochlocracy.

Rule by the most vocal and forceful.

It’s not democracy. Rather, ochlocracy is the libertarian interpretation of what democracy means.
The basic tenets of libertarian ideology (left or right) are based on individualism as an ideal. There is no acknowledgement of interdependence of living in large social settings called civilization or nations.

Life, liberty & property; the basic requirements of individualism.
Spontaneous order refers to the will of the mob. The mob governs all. Same with the rule of law. The mob has the freedom to spontaneously create rules and laws to establish order.

Limiting legitimate power & authority increases the mob’s power.
Removing regulations permits dominance of those with the most knowledge, wealth & connections.

Libertarians believe in two classes. Those who own property & means of production, and those who feed off it. Rich and poor.
There’s some attempt to rationalize the greed of the wealthy. Taxes and redistribution of wealth (property) is referred to as theft.

Libertarians give lip service to peace. They prefer war and bullying. But they talk a good game.
Cato Institute rationalizes radicalism and extremism as fully and consistently applied principles. Which allows for viewing any government regulation or tax as a reduction in “freedom” of the mob’s major players.
And of course the obligatory threat that unless libertarianism is adopted and cultivated, the whole ideal of democracy and freedom will disappear from the face of the earth. Justifying their extreme positions.

It’s tiresome.

But it explains UCP’s policies and behaviour.
UCP is advancing the Dominionist Christian Nationalist agenda. Which is paleolibertarian (libertarian + evangelical Christian).

Maintaining covid as a pandemic aids the installation of libertarian policies and aids the dismantling of AB democratic institutions and processes.
If you look out the window and don’t see any perceptible change, that’s because policy is written on paper.

But the fact we are well on our way to experiencing the carnage the fourth covid wave will cause in Alberta, should be a major clue there’s a problem.
Supposedly, CMOH was to have removed test, trace and isolate.

Do you need to see the gun pointed at your head before you consider labelling what your prov govt is doing as fascistic by approving policies that may kill thousands of citizens, & infect thousands of kids under 12?
Because that’s where we are.

Extreme libertarian beliefs are a precursor to neo fascist ideology.

(Libertarian ≠ modern liberalist)

(Extreme libertarian = soft fascism)

If people actually read a few books, they would already know what’s happening. They would recognize what Mulroney is referencing to a crowd of concerned libertarians needing reassurance O’Toole is going to deliver them “freedom & liberty” to reap a Canadian resource harvesting.
Naomi Klein “Shock Doctrine”.

CIA backed Pinochet coup d’état in Chile 1973 was the beginning of libertarian redesign of democracy to suit the needs and wants of the very wealthy. A model further perfected over the years. ImageImageImageImage
Nancy Maclean “Democracy In Chains”. Maclean reveals the architect of the libertarian Disaster Capitalist (anarcho-capitalist) movement funded by Koch Brothers, Mont Pelerin Society and CNP: James Buchanan. The source of Public Choice theory. ImageImageImageImage

My husband and I were discussing this issue this morning.

Neither of us could figure out why leaders who are intentionally putting lives at risk are not being charged with crimes against humanity. This is the equivalent to mass murder.
If leaders ordered police to shoot & open fire in a crowd, it’s qualitatively no different than how covid has been handled by many on the far right.

We know shooting bullets into a crowd will kill some, injure others and terrorize the population.
Refusing to use actual science to make covid mitigation decisions has the same effect. Except covid is a more targeted attack. People who are unvaccinated are more likely to be affected. That includes all children under 12.

I think the horror of what is being done is beginning to sink in.

Covid has been weaponized by right wing politicians. A bio weapon meant to hurt, harm, kill and disable.

That’s an act of war.

It’s not a mistake or accident.

These con govts are choosing intentional harm.
Asking why we have a snap election when conservative governments are intentionally exacerbating covid and willingly harming the populations they are sworn to protect, is denial that this carnage is intentional.

There is no way to rationalize these decisions.
Hinshaw, and certainly Kenney & UCP will use denial to escape culpability. They’ll call it a mistake, and accident. A miscalculation.

That’s a lie and an example of UCP gaslighting.

Global condemnation for this decision came immediately after it was announced.

Short explanation of gaslighting technique.

Operate under the assumption that verified facts have been established when they haven’t been.

Same technique used with “fighting children” narrative.
When you assume a defensive position to an unverified narrative, you make the underlying narrative appear to be true.

Stop defending Trudeau and attack the people spreading false narratives.

That’s the dirty trick being played on Canadians.
It’s the NDP, CPC and MSM acting in bad faith. Make them answer to their malfeasance and manipulation of truth. It’s not up to Trudeau to prove innocence. It’s up to the accuser to prove guilt. And they haven’t. They just pretend it’s an established fact.

Please listen to this podcast. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Every time you’ve wondered how well known politicians and controversial yet popular provocateurs get away with posting clear violations of Facebook policy, is explained here.
The white list.

A list of people who have no restrictions on anything they write, broadcast, create, post, etc. Including revenge porn and incitement to hatred and violence.

Now consider the current Canadian federal election.

And view it through the lens of Bill C-10.
Why are we having an election?

Did CPC and NDP block Bill C-10 from being approved? Yes. Enormous effort was made to spin the bill as an attempt to block user generated content.

But the bill was actually intended to monitor Social Media owners enforcement of their own rules.

PART 2 ~ BIG LIE
Now look at the content of each scandal. The combined narrative. The sum of the lies.

•Criminally corrupt
•Influence peddling
•Sacrifice innocent men
•Conspiracy with China
•Abandon allies
•Racism
•Incompetence
•Misogyny
•Criminal cover ups
•Torture
That’s the description of a corrupt tyrant.

There are also accusations of removing liberty and rights, forced experimental vaccinations, continued torture and genocide of FN indigenous, etc.

The meta narrative portrays the image of a fascist tyrant.
