Someshwar Temple in Raviwar Peth is from the 1700s. The complex has many otjer temples in addition to the Mahadev temple.
The Nageshwar Temple in Somwar Peth is one of the oldest temple in Pune. Though rebuilt during Peshwa rule, the temple is probably 700 year old.
Kameshwar in Shaniwar Peth has features of a typical Nagar style temple amalgamated with Maratha style architecture.
Vruddheshwar and Siddheshwar temples at Shivajinagar are one of the oldest structures in Shivajinagar.
Harihareshwar Temple in Shaniwar Temple has a beautiful shikhar where lamps can be placed.
The Siddheswar Temple was built as a memorial to Bihubai Naik Joshi the sister of Bajirao I
Amruteshwar Temple near Shaniwar Wada is an example of elegant architecture from the 1700s.
The Omkareshwar Temple from the 1730s is built in stone and has nine shikhar and a large courtyard built in stone.
The Rameshwar Temple in Shukrawar Peth near Mandai was built by the Khasgiwale family during Peshwa rule
The Kashi Vishweshwar is a private temple built by the Natu family. Located in Shaniwar, it is most likely from the 1800s.
Kedareshwar in Kasba Peth is only of the older temples in the city. The deity is estimated to be over 500 years old.
Trimbakeshwar at Kasba Peth has an old world charm about it and has a village feel to it.
The Lakshmaneshwar Temple at Rasta Peth was built by Sardar Anandrao Raste from the famous banking family during Peshwa rule.
The Sangameshwar at the Mula Mutha river sangam is built in stone. A few old paintings from the 1780s include the temple as part of the landscape.
Someshwar at Pashan is built in stone and maintained well.
The Panchling or Panchaleshwar is on the banks of the Mutha just off Karve Road of today. The deity is atleast 250 years old.
The Phadke Mahadev established by Haripant Phadke the valiant commander at the court of the Peshwa is located at Raviwar Peth.
The Johari Mahadev at Sadashiv Peth goes back atleast to the beginning og 1800s.
Kashi Vishwashwar tenple at Tulshibaug one of the best known temple complexes in the city established by Naro Appaji Tulshibagwale in 1780s.
The Rhunmukteshwar temple is located in Raviwar Peth near Dagdi Nagoba Temple.
The Prasanneshwar Mahadev is located opposite KEM Hospital. It is a quiet corner amind the busy roads outside.
Located in the Tulshibaug lane this Mahadev Temple is small yet has a characteristic shape.
The Nilkantheshwar Temple in Kasba dates back to the era of Madhavrao Pehwa or probably earloer
The Pataleshwar Mahadev is likely one of the Gram Daivat of Kasbe Pune village.

The first stop was Mandai itself – Baldev Prasad Gupta. For the small sized shop you can get an amazing variety – pohe/upma, pulav, puri-bhaji, samosa, vada and much more. My fav is the large jilebi – thick and plump, soft inside yet crunchy (not hard) on the outside. 2/11
Green Bakery is known to all Punekars. While bread and bakery is its staple, since many decades it has been selling crunchy patti samosa. The recipe of the filling has changed over the years as regulars may vouch. The samosas still have retained their crunch. 3/11

Sant Eknath (1533-1599) believed to have written the Bhagwat in front of 'Sakshi' Gopal murti, presently at the Tailangswami Mutth. Eknath Maharaj is believed to have stayed at the Panchaganga Ghat for about two years.
Many Marathi families have made Varanasi their home over a few centuries. Some families believe that their forefathers arrived when Shivaji Maharaj's helped to resurrect the Bindu Madhav Temple destroyed by Aurangzeb. Since mid 1800s the Pant Pratinidhi have supported the temple.

The Manache Shlok means – Conversations For The Mind. The compilation of 205 shlok of 4 lines each is written in classical #मराठी Marathi. Those who know Hindi/Sanskrit may understand shlok. The thread is not a complete or authoritative discussion but quotes a few as examples.
The content is predominantly about bhakti to the God and simplified philosophy. Aspects of stories from from the scriptures, good social behaviours, ethics and the acceptance of the worldly truths have also found discussion in the various shlok.
