I remember when in spring 2019, Doug Ford was persona non grata in Canada. He and his party took a long vacation for 5 months to not unduly impact Scheer’s chances of winning federal conservative votes. He was an embarrassment and was hidden away, along with his party.

Five months is a long time.

Alberta’s premier is now the unpopular conservative pariah in 2021.

The same exact strategy is being used to avoid impacting O’Toole’s voter support in Alberta and western Canada.

A delay of 6 weeks to “observe” delta covid case numbers.

Base voters for CPC are Dominionists, racists & libertarians.

But they also require a portion of centre right moderates.

Not enough toxic people vote to secure a majority. There’s enough in certain ridings, but not across the nation in federal ridings.

So the party is forced to woo centre right moderates to win elections.

An attempt to portray O’Toole as moderate for the last year has been CPC strategy to fool enough centre right moderates & enraged progressives to cast a vote for CPC. (Yes, CPC is after NDP/GPC votes).

One way to gauge O’Toole’s beliefs is the endorsement for federal party leader by Jason Kenney in 2020. Kenney also endorsed Ford and Moe.

Kenney puts effort into portraying himself as a moderate conservative. He’s anything but.

The recent attempt to indiscriminately kill and infect the youth of Alberta is testament to his malevolent narcissism and ideological rigidity.

He’s a Dominionist Christian along the lines of Amy Coney Barrett.

Devoutly Catholic, Kenney’s been quietly bringing in SoCon based policy in every ministry he’s held. Now he’s in Alberta. His over the top political theatrics mask his zealotry. While his his more strategic leader, Stephen Harper, uses silence and distraction.

If you’re still unconvinced, one look at the AB covid response from Kenney is all that’s required to tip the scale.

Kenney has repeatedly catered to the Dominionist Christian community. They are his largest support base & his capitulation to their protests has been obvious.

Many don’t realize a large portion of the Alberta and Western Canadian business community is owned by upper middle to upper income Dominionist Christians. Highly invested in fossil fuels and the businesses that support the industry.

Restaurants/Hotels/service industry; Field services for fossil fuels; smaller O&G developers; transportation; Equipment & supply chain management. Many are owned and operated by Dominionists. Served by Christian banks, financial services, doctors, dentists, lawyers & pharmacists.

These business owners have a relatively closed economic system across Canada. Doing business with each other to ensure wealth remains within the Dominionist Christian community.

These are the businesses & owners lobbying Kenney & UCP for removal of covid restrictions and mitigation policies.

The same people who joined Liberty Coalition Canada to remove covid public health regulations in entirety.

Dominionist Christians are a closed insular community.

The same special interest group that Kenney capitulated to by removing all mandatory public health protections for Stampede and plans to remove any means of testing & tracing covid. As well as any expectation for those diagnosed with covid infection to isolate.

Kenney is placing public health in the hands of god.

Yep. That policy is based on Dominionist Christian beliefs & values.

If you’re an obedient “saved” Christian, god will protect you from the virus.

Tough luck for all the sinners and eternally condemned, including our kids.

Liberty Coalition Canada is a slick Dominionist propaganda portal. The level of disinformation is astounding.

Clear objective to seek herd immunity.

False “facts” presented as suggested talking points.

Methods to refute real science & “coercion” when vaccination is mentioned.

A group of professionals who refute mainstream (aka real) public health information. Hundreds have signed on as “conscientious objectors” to PHAC public health recommendations and covid & vaccine scientific research. Many are active healthcare professionals.

It’s unnerving.

This is a professional operation. The website is well managed. Multiple resources are listed. Several federal, provincial and municipal politicians are members.

The organization is listed as co-founded by Rev. Dr. Michael Thiessen. Pastor of Grace Baptist Church, Allison, ON.

Somehow I doubt a full time pastor has the time and knowledge background to manage a national propaganda website. He may have founded the Coalition, but there are professionals running this website.

It’s not listed who is running it.

The site features a prolific writer from US based Lifesite News, (an ultra far right Anti Choice Christian news site), Robert L. Kinney III.

Notorious for his attempt to “scientifically” refute the removal of homosexuality as a mental disorder from DSM list of mental disorders.

It also features a Koch Industries trained, past Cato Institute intern, Ethan Yang.

Yang is an interesting find. He works in Great Barrington, MA.

American, but writing about the Canadian decision to “censor” doctors who spread disinformation.

Was Yang the one who published the document or arranged the PR?

No.

But he’s employed by AIER, worked for ALEC, he’s a Charles Koch Institute trained propaganda graduate and he’s a professional saboteur writing propaganda about Canadian politics.

This website is part of an organized attempt to undermine the Canadian national covid response by providing Dominionist Christians with bogus pseudoscience and egregiously fake and preposterous information. It’s probably funded by Koch, a domestic billionaire libertarian or both.
