Hinshaw then pivots to school covid policy. No longer are masks mandatory. They’re optional. Major urban school boards have since begun to consider imposing their own mask mandate.

But it’s expected rural regions’ schools will choose an alternative path.

It’s a danger to all Albertans, since it’s rural communities are mostly unvaccinated. Calgary and Edmonton are vaccinated at much higher rates than rural centres.

Hinshaw made another dog whistle/coded language nod to Dominionists. The majority of Dominionists live in rural Alberta. Calgary has the most in an urban environment, Edmonton lags behind, but church planting is changing that fast.

This nod to Dominionists is significant.

It puts the decision to mask and implement covid restrictions in the hands of parents and school boards. Out of the hands of the CMOH and AHS Public Health. It’s a transfer of decision making authority from experts to parents. From government to local school boards.

Hinshaw is unfazed by the transfer of Public Health protection (her job) to community.

This can be characterized as an affirmation of personal responsibility. Individual liberty & personal choice to define public policy.

Ultimately, it’s what Dominionists have been demanding.

That’s what this policy is: the abandonment of UCP government responsibility for public health and transfer of that responsibility to laypersons, who are ill equipped to make appropriate public health decisions for local communities.

Read that again. Let it sink in.

Rather than trained experts determining what is the best course of action during a deadly pandemic, the UCP govt is transferring that responsibility to the community, giving parents & school boards the authority to make public health decisions.

Hinshaw reminds Dominionists of this commitment and assures them they only need to wait another 6 weeks.

This is a complete abandonment of medical ethics and open support for removal of medical expertise and reliance on science required to effectively protect public health.

Then Hinshaw pivots back to vaccines. Stating in school vaccine clinics will open September 7, a week after school starts.

Conveniently leaving out the fact 12 year olds and up can legally make their own health decisions.

Something Dominionist parents refute should be legal.

So look for a legal challenge of that authority. Another human right the Dominionists will take to court to have withdrawn. Children’s body autonomy and privacy in healthcare treatment from a medical professional.

I find it frustrating beyond belief that so many Albertans believe the AB covid battle has been won since Hinshaw backed down.

This is how UCP wins policy debates. They delay until another distraction grabs the public’s attention & then quietly reintroduce the undesired policy.

That’s all that this is. By temporarily delaying the policy implementation, the momentum of daily protests are interrupted.

Yes protests were making a difference. The images of Albertans protesting for their right to life is damaging to UCP brand and it spread internationally.

It was immediately halted. Kenney IS the most despised premier. Albertans ARE unable to trust anything this government does. But many still believe this is a democracy and we must endure UCP until April 2023.

We can’t. The protests prove that we can make a change much sooner.

Whomever wins the federal election, I can guarantee that UCP will forge ahead with this policy. Which means protesters need to return to daily support.

But if a CPC govt is elected, that won’t be enough to halt the implementation of this policy.

CPC ideologically supports liberty and personal responsibility, just like UCP.

At that point, Albertans would need to physically depose Kenney and UCP. Which would immediately be stopped by local and regional law enforcement, federal back up and possibly Canadian armed forces.

It means we REQUIRE an LPC government to ensure Albertans retain the right to freely associate and to protest a government attempting to implement policy that kills the innocent and create long covid complications.

Albertans are so close to crossing the open fascism line. Kenney and CPC are toeing the line. Pushing up against it to determine how firm it is.

Once that line is crossed, it won’t be easily uncrossed.

Dominionists are after a libertarian stronghold to defend in AB.

What is terrifying is the CMOH seems either indifferent to this outcome or completely aligned with it.

She’s abandoned her medical ethics. She’s abandoned her primary objective (to protect the public health of Albertans) and seems willing to hand over authority to laypersons.

She can’t name her sources of evidence. Other provinces are sending open warnings about the UCP policy. Local physicians are putting their jobs on the line to warn citizens.

Alberta is about to be irreparably altered into dystopia. Kind of like Afghanistan is right now.

Be prepared. The battle for our lives isn’t over. It’s just paused to give O’Toole maximum opportunity to win over & woo conservative moderates.

He’s using scandals and disinformation. Exactly like Harper did in 2006. Also, Jack Layton played a similar role as Jagmeet Singh.

Look at the platform from 2006. It’s remarkably similar to 2021. Fifteen years and cons are still using fake scandals, promising improved ethics & bribing people with immediate cash in their pocket.

O’Toole is just following a formula.

Manufactured scandal, outrage, false assurances of security from a strongman, split the progressive vote. Completely ignore every campaign promise when elected.

Why are Canadians still falling for it? Because we’re naive & uninformed.

Layton made the same kind of populist promises that Singh is making. How many did he achieve by removing Liberals as his main competition in accusations of corruption and scandal? None. That’s how many. Just like Singh won’t if O’Toole becomes PM by splitting the vote.

Canadians have the opportunity to choose to make real systemic changes to long standing biases & policies that create poverty, enforce racism, support misogyny, harm LGBTQ & dehumanize immigrants. PMJT is leading the ONLY federal govt to address indigenous issues and childcare.

This is literally the last election before climate change overwhelms the planet.

Who do you want leading this nation through certain chaos? O’Toole? Singh? Or someone who has demonstrated he can address multiple issues as they arise & navigate roadblocks?
