Why North Korea won’t abandon its nuclear weapons without a regime change
The current campaign of punitive economic and strategic pressure is necessary as long as Kim Jong Un is in power
nknews.org/pro/why-north-…
2/I've deduced US-ROK's irrational reasoning:
1) North Korea is (still) "the enemy"
2) DPRK still wants to forcefully reunify the KP under Socialism
3) USFK have therefore been "keeping the peace" since 1953
4) NK's nukes give it an advantage therefore NK must fully denuclearize
3/US-ROK has built the edifice of its North Korea strategy on sand b/c all of its premises are false. When a key premise of any theory is annulled, that theory is shot. Yet US & ROK heads don't abide by the rules of logic. Instead, cognitive distortions ("habitual errors in
4/thinking"), distrust, paranoia & two dimensional thinking rule the roost in the subjective cogs of the military industrial complex machine.

Habitual distrust, now ingrained, makes US & ROK unable to properly hear, understand & factor in DPRK's official statements. First off,
5/the notion that North Korea is still "the enemy" is Cold War thinking of the past. It is Armistice and NK wants to live at peace w/ the US & have normalized relations. Yet US & ROK are blind to everything except for NKs nukes. This tunnel vision is dangerous b/c it is what
6/leads to war. Believing someone's an "enemy" when that entity wants to coexist in ☮️ w/ you is error #1. Error #2 is the egregious mistake of thinking NK still wants to forcefully reunify the KP under Socialism. They tried it once, they won't do it again when it'll be suicide.
7/But irrationality overrules reason in all US-ROK NK strategy. It is believed fervently w/ the energy of faith, facts be damned, reminiscent of how the Church persecuted Galileo for his heliocentric model of the solar system. That belief is a cornerstone in the edifice of US-ROK
8/NK policy. This belief then fosters the next belief that there has been peace since 1953 thanks to USFK "keeping the peace". Such stupendous ignorance is truly astounding. The joint military exercises USFK do to "keep the peace" are precisely what DPRK perceives as an ever-
9/present threat to their homeland & sovereignty, and it's precisely b/c of this perception (and "perception is 90% of reality") that DPRK has time and time again realized that the only way to counter this threat is thru nuclear deterrence. Tell this to US & ROK heads & they'll
10/scoff in disbelief using some convoluted rationalization utterly detached from reality. The very actions USFK use to "keep the peace" are what have brought DPRK's nuclear program to its present stage. US & ROK unable to correctly perceiver reality.
11/The erroneous conclusion that NK want's to use its nukes to forcefully reinvade the South has made clear in the minds of US & ROK officials that the summum bonum of their NK policy/strategy is to get DPRK to fully denuclearize. FFVD. CVID. The "rogue state" must learn to
12/"follow the rules" and be "defanged" so that it won't be able to carry out its nefarious intent - "forcefully reunifying the KP under Socialism". Now there are two sides in negotiations but don't say that to US & ROK heads. What DPRK says doesn't matter to them, is irrelevant.
13/They "know who they're dealing with" etc. etc.. As they have it "all figured out", it's so simple: get DPRK to fully denuclearize. Then sanctions will be lifted followed by normalization yada yada yada. The only problem is that the skewed thinking underlying US-ROK NK strategy
14/is detached from reality, disconnected from the concrete tangible world of actuality. There is nothing more dangerous than a superpower that becomes unhinged thru the delusions of its own making. Let's look at realty:
1) DPRK wants to achieve ☮️ on the KP, have normalized
15/relations w/ all countries, values friendship & follows the principle of "power for power, goodwill for goodwill". This is beyond the compression of US-ROK heads, which boggles the mind, for how can top officials be such goddam effing idiots while being paid 6 figures?
2) Ask
16/any DPRK official - Kim Yo Jong, Choe Son Hui...- and they'll tell you flat out. I don't know what exactly they'd say but I think it'd be to the effect of: "We want to reunify peacefully going by Kim Il Sung's Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo where North & South respect
17/one another's systems. We've already said and it's in our Constitution that Socialism is to be restricted to the North. So no, we have no intent of ever forcefully reinvading the South to bring the KP under Socialism." The US & ROK would just say: "We don't believe you. Nya
18/nya nya nya nya" & then stick their tongues out (metaphorically speaking).
3) USFK "keeping the peace" shows the sheer stupidity behind their thinking. They must not understand that when a Peace Treaty is ratified, wartime officially ends, all sides feel secure, both sides
19/no longer perceive the other as a threat and the need for muscle-flexing becomes obsolete b/c the Peace Treaty, the common ground of both parties, guarantees security as long as all conditions are met. There is no legal "peace" under Armistice. US & ROK have such a sophomoric
20/understanding of peace, it's really astounding how their strategists can be such idiots. "Keeping the peace" to them means preventing DPRK from trying to reinvade the South (which it doesn't even want to do). Go figure. In this material world the path of error is a highway.
21/And lastly, if you read DPRK official statements, it's clear that their nuclear program is to build nuclear deterrence to keep the US from carrying thru on any of it's threats - preemptive nuclear first strike, decapitation strike or regime change. The above piece👆is depraved
22/for asserting that "North Korea won’t abandon its nuclear weapons w/out a regime change". The truth is that US & ROK have their heads so far up their a##es that all they see, hear & smell is their own sh#t. They're so single-mindedly convinced that FFVD/CVID is "the solution"
23/or panacea to all things Korean Peninsula that they've come to the conclusion that since KJU is keeping DPRK's nukes, the only way to get to FFVD/CVID is thru regime change. This dangerous tunnel vision is blind to the reality that an attempted regime change, if perceived by
24/DPRK, could lead to a preemptive nuclear strike on their part. W/out regard to every sovereign nation's right to defend itself, US & ROK seem to think they can bend or break the rules, perhaps b/c it's "their game", so they can do whatever they want. They misinterpret DPRK
25/exercising its right to defend itself against NUCLEAR THREATS made by the US (what - does the US have the right to threaten NK w/ preemptive nuclear first strike but NK doesn't have the right to use nuclear deterrence to defend itself?) as a "threat" to US & ROK homelands.
26/Such naiveté, misperception, irrationality, bankruptcy in critical analysis & thinking, cognitive distortion & disconnection from reality. The erroneous thinking imbuing 👆article might lead the world to the precipitous edge of the abyss. Regime change IS the path of error. ✌️

Kim Yo Jong "compared the North’s officially revealed weapons plans to those that Moon promoted, and accused him of double standards for defending his tests as “legitimate” while refusing to accept the same label for the North’s."
nknews.org/2021/09/kim-yo…
2/Kim Yo Jong "did not directly criticize the South’s SLBM test or other missile developments that South Korea conducted and revealed on Wednesday, but added that Moon’s attitude was a “great regret” and “worrying toward the development of North-South relations.”
3/"Kim Yo Jong took particular issue with the word “provocation..."
I also take issue at the double standard of US, South Korea, UK & Western allies calling DPRK's defense drills/tests ‘threats’ & ‘provocations’, but US-ROK exercises aren't 'provocations'.

Truth is unpopular in the material world. Of course statement is true 👇. So is “North Korea should always have the right to defend itself.” So is “John Bolton advocated for a preemptive nuclear strike on DPRK in the name of self-defense”. DPRK has the right to nuclear deterrent.
2/It can be argued that the greatest hypocrisy of the modern era is how US, South Korea, UK & Western allies say: “We have the right to self-defend ourselves against North Korea’s ‘threats’/‘provocations’” and: “DPRK doesn’t have this right that we have”.
3/For as long as this hypocrisy continues, as well as the inability to adopt a new negotiating strategy that addresses DPRK security concerns persists, ☮️ on the Korean Peninsula will be elusive, and escalation & an arms race become more likely. If ROK & US “want it all”, i.e.

Kim Yo-jong responds to Moon Jae-in's criticisms of North Korea's ballistic missile launches last week, saying Moon’s “illogical and brazen-faced” comments echoed the US stance.
North Korea calls president Moon ‘a parrot raised by America’ in new salvo scmp.com/news/asia/east…
2/Moon Jae-in "termed Seoul's growing missile capabilities as a “sure deterrence" against provocations from Pyongyang [when] commenting on Seoul's defence capabilities after Seoul's first successful test of a submarine-launched ballistic missile.”
hindustantimes.com/world-news/irk…
3/Kim Yo Jong is reacting against the illogicality of Moon's statement that stems from mislabeling Pyongyang’s recent launching of a “tactical” cruise missile followed by two missiles/projectiles as “provocations”, a term which belies ignorance or willful unacceptable of the fact

If you’re an advocate for Deterrence Theory raise your hand. ✋ DPRK’s nuclear capability war deterrent is what’s preventing the US from taking aggressive military action against North Korea. Paradoxically, then, DPRK practicing nuclear deterrence is keeping the ☮️ on the KP.
2/Why am I defending DPRK’s putting nuclear deterrence theory into action?
1) On principle
2) North Koreans whom I’ve seen are super cool and I like them, wish we were friends
3) I love the Moranbong Band and Wangjaesan Dance Troupe
4) I take David’s side in David vs Goliath
3/When I’m convinced there’s a way to living peacefully w/ a normalized nuclear North Korea, but Washington stubbornly stands in the way, it’s infuriating. If the world will be better off living w/ nuclear NK in ☮️ on the KP, then my own country, the USA, is part of the problem.

The Doha Agreement was built around 3 strategic objectives. Biden, who said his pull-out was an “extraordinary success”, negated all 3 objectives.
state.gov/wp-content/upl…
2/There's only one adequate response to this, one which Americans know well:
3/The 3 strategic objectives in the Doha Agreement:
I) The Agreement for Bringing Peace to Afghanistan provided for the Ghani government & the Taliban to form a coalition government that would NOT be called “the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan” (Taliban's "dream-come-true").

Narrow is the way to Peace on the Korean Peninsula
☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️
Where’s the Roadmap to the Peace Treaty? Right now the US has none, which is unacceptable.

Since the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed, US’s North Korea policy has been premised by this conditional:
2/If (North Korea has nukes) then (US won’t sign a Peace Treaty). The contra positive of this is:
If (US signs a Peace Treaty) then (North Korea doesn’t have nukes).
Up until DPRK’s 2013 April 1 Nuclear Law (passed a month after Kim Jong Un heard from Dennis Rodman that Obama had
3/refused to call him by phone to talk), FFVD was in the cards for DPRK. It hung by a thread since then up to KJU’s 2020 NYD Address, whence FFVD/CVID were permanently removed from the table in accordance w/ DPRK’s “new road” that has “absolute deterrence” as its theoretical
