Do all African lives matter or do only some African lives matter?

The chaos caused by the actions of TPLF growing by the day, already with more than 2 million IDPs, and an active ongoing TPLF insurgency against unarmed civilians in Wollo.
Repeated US statements which target one side in this conflict, the Ethiopian Govt, which was not the aggressor are alienating all the peoples of Ethiopia.
The TPLF itself has been revealing #TPLFtruth through their own very obvious actions and accompanying belligerent statements over the past two months.
And now the #TPLFtruth around the dirty secrets of the Western powers long standing, client-proxy relationships with this organisation - which embraced a terrorist outlook from its inception - is being revealed to all.
This is something that we know that you @USAmbUN are well aware of through your personal contacts.
Meanwhile the UN itself has its own problems. With 27 years of appointments of nominees from the TPLF ranks into its own organisational structures.

The recent @UNEthiopia audio recording leak shows us how this pervasive infiltration presents itself.
The most notable of the TPLF cadre in the UN is leading WHO, a person who clearly considers rules about making politically charged statements do not apply to him.
When the TPLF mounted a successful counter offensive in Tigray during Ethiopia’s first real try at open, free and fair elections, this UN Agency leader tweeted “pride” in response to reports of their victories.
Meanwhile every five years for nearly three decades the US @StateDept has been giving absurdly rigged TPLF elections - during which opposition leaders have routinely been imprisoned and tortured - a clean bill of health.
The facts of all these #TPLFTruth(s) are revealed in the State Department’s own internal documents.
I have been informed by an eye witness at a @StateDept attended meeting concerning political prisoners in Africa about an incident in which a senior US official openly joked about their being no political prisoners in Ethiopia, at which point attendees broke out in laughter.
This game is up.

The Ethiopian people are not willing to return to TPLF rule. The PM @AbiyAhmedAli cannot negotiate with a terrorist organisation which is killing his people. They are telling him very vocally not to do so. And it would be wrong regardless.
November 3rd 202O is Ethiopia’s 9/11/2020, the equivalent of the UK’s July 7th 2005 London bombings.

Should the US and UK have been forced to negotiate with Al Qaida in 2001 and 2005? To accept their culpability for bringing these attacks on themselves?
What the international community is asking of Ethiopia’s Govt. is something it cannot and should not deliver.

6000 Govt troops were murdered in the middle of the night on November 3-4 2020. Many were killed as the slept. Some crushed with bulldozers.
And yet this is an event that the IC seems to be unable to acknowledge, so much so that Western news reports about it more often than not report that is was Ethiopian forces commanded by Nobel Peace Prize winner @AbiyAhmedAli that attacked first.
The story of this attack has been suppressed. The international community should have come to Ethiopia’s aid, instead they took the word of their hideous East African “anchor” proxy the TPLF that it was an act of self defence.
This is proven to be incorrect in numerous statements made by the TPLF themselves. It is also clearly false on simple logic. It is inconceivable that a murderous force of this scale could be assembled at short notice for such a massive attack against their own brothers in arms.
And there is a growing mountain of evidence that planning for the operation began months earlier.
I cannot fathom how bad the news media’s reporting of all this has been, except by putting it down to the events coinciding first with Donald Trump’s attempted coup in the US, and the Covid pandemic.
But this is not the media’s fault, they just followed the lead of the spokespeople for the great powers and UN agencies who, with one voice, embraced the narrative of their proxy the TPLF, and ignored what they know about their history and methods.
Then

… once it all became obvious, after the June 28th ceasefire, when the TPLF did nothing to feed and support their people and instead armed children and sent them out as human waves in front of their columns to die in their thousands…

Silence.
Silence for weeks of slaughter and looting and rape and massacres in Afar and Amhara regions. All of which could be seen plain as day. The TPLF did not hide this offensive they cheered it on.
So let me ask you again @USAmbUN Linda Thomas Greenfield, do all African lives matter or are some African lives special. The lives of a cadre of known terrorists who have been sowing the seeds of ethnic tension and violence for three decades.
Now as the ruthlessness of U.S. proxy policy in the Horn of Africa has been laid bare, it is due to return to the UNSC this week.

And knowing that you know the truth, I expect this places you in a difficult position @USAmbUN.
The history that we remember and celebrate is made in times like these, when brave and true people speak up for the truth in the face of great obstacles.

You @USAmbUN, are now in the hot seat. You have only a short period of time to decide which side of history to be on.
Whether to side with politically connected terrorists who have served U.S. interests in the Horn of Africa during the horrific and endless U.S. War Terror, and who are now performing a dress rehearsal to become an East African terror force.
Or to side with the united peoples of the oldest civilization on the planet, the people and govt. of Ethiopia who are determined to rid themselves of a terrible scourge on their country, a group of ruthless thugs who have held back East African development for 50 years.
@USAmbUN, you can now choose to be recorded in history as a person who said “African Lives Matter”, meant it and acted on your conviction.

Or you can choose to be remembered as a UN ambassador who did the bidding of U.S. interests and in doing so served Dylan’s Masters of War.
I will pray that you embrace the courage of your convictions, and I expect millions will join me in this prayer.

The framing of what the USG has done today as "imposing sanctions" is not really what it is. I far better framing to interpret this is as a "framework to achieve and end to the war in North Ethiopia".
As a great imperial power the USG, struggles to say this in as many words. But it is clear when you read between the lines that the U.S. is finally willing to engage with the Ethiopian Govt. in a sincere manner. That said there is still a lot of water to travel under the bridge,
The framing of this initiative is carrot and stick. The stick is of course the bit that Ethiopia should not accept.

But the carrot is significant. The President of the United States is offering to restore Ethiopia's to its rightful place as friend and ally of the US. Image

This letter is fantastic. And a great way to respond to the @JoeBiden peace Initiative. Very very Abiy in its construction, strong, and heartfelt. The final paragraph is crucial.
The U.S. initiative - I just spent a couple of hours getting into the weeds on it - is on one level disrespectful, and on another (more important level) clearly a practical response to try to end this war and crisis.
The final paragraph of @AbiyAhmedAli's letter reads:

"It is essential to point out here that Ethiopia will not succumb to consequences of pressure engineered by disgruntled individuals for whom consolidating power is more important than the well-being of millions.

So this #TPLFStrategyLeak appears to be a significant event. An 86 page document leaked, allegedly written/presented to TPLF leadership a couple of weeks before the Northern Command attack.

The document appears to have been leaked online. A full version is not yet available.
The second #TPLFStrategyLeak tweet, tweeted earlier contains a summary and description of the full document. And I now have a full translation of that.
The document is in Amharic, which raises questions about its authenticity. However, it's not quite that simple, as it also raises questions about any attempt to fake it. I would also note that faking an 86 page doc. would itself be extraordinary.

The Ethiopian-Tigray Crisis-War has reached what looks like a turning point. The rumours, which are everywhere, that @POTUS @JoeBiden is about to sanction Ethiopia and Eritrea are clearly being telegraphed for a reason.
@POTUS @JoeBiden E.G. this is one of the most recent ones. And this one is weirdly specific. "18 Hours". sounds like there will be a press conference or something.
Apparently the announcement of the sanctions has been approved. On the day that @KarenBassTweets was due to depart for Ethiopia on CODEL (Congressional Delegation) visit. However this seems to have been postponed, now till 27th-29th September. Which is odd.
