At the border fence, hundreds of Palestinians in the besieged Gaza strip were protesting to mark an arson attack against al Aqsa mosque in 1969. They were shot at by israeli forces resulting in dozens of wounded.
Over 40 Palestinians wounded. Al Jazeera reports 2 Palestinians, incl a 13yo boy shot in the head by Israeli forces, are in critical condition. Photos by Atteya Darwish of wounded at al Shifa hospital. The roads to hospital suffered heavy damage during israel's assault in May. 
Cell phone video shows Palestinians trying to fight back by throwing rocks and attempting to snatch an israeli guard's rifle, whose barrel can be seen sticking out the wall. Someone is seen firing in with a pistol, and israeli media reporting 1 israeli guard in critical condition
No report on no. of casualties from the bombings right now. All the above mentioned injuries are from the border fence protests earlier today.
Times of israel: "The protest marked the first time Gazans have conducted a daytime march toward the Gaza border since December 2019."
Many Palestinians were killed and injured during the Right to Return marches in 2018-2019, prompting the International Criminal Court to consider an investigation into war crimes by israel.
