2/ The “Levelling Up Fund” is a huge £4.8bn fund which pretends to be the centrepiece of a levelling up agenda – but we think it’s just a way to funnel money into constituencies of political benefit to the Conservative Party.

3/ This permission decision means Govt will have to defend itself in Court. It’s the latest in a string of permission decisions that have gone in @GoodLawProject favour. Of 14 cases we’ve issued since start of 2020, the Court has granted permission in 11 at first time of asking

Since 2010, official statistics show that this has only happened in 17% of all judicial reviews. Good Law Project’s success rate on the other hand is a staggering 78%.⬇️

3/ A report by the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Marie Curie found that in the 18 months between April 2018 and October 2019 1,860 people died within six months of being refused benefits.

2/ We must ensure their safety, to preserve and protect the spirit and people of Hong Kong

Exodus of young people from Hong Kong.

Under the crushing fear of the draconian security law, young people are reluctantly leaving Hong Kong in droves to find safety & freedom elsewhere.

3/ STAND WITH HONG KONG 🇭🇰

In particular, activists and anyone associated with the pro-democracy movement in the city simply do not feel safe anymore in their home city.

1/ Government gets a bona fide PPE offer from a would be supplier. The company has sourced the PPE, submitted a bid and passed through the technical checks….

2/ They’re close to signing on the dotted line. But at the eleventh hour they get dropped. Instead, Government buys the same thing from someone else. Someone who came in later but with close connections to Cabinet Ministers - and at an eye watering price….

3/ This is a story we have heard, with close variants, again and again. But Government secrecy means we haven’t been able to corroborate it - until now.
