Our ancestors used a complex system to stratify our society, using:

-varna
-kula
-jati
-vruthi
-shreni
-gotra
-pravara
-vamsha
-jana
-karma
-guna
-janma

Why are Hindu intellectuals ignoring this by allowing bashing of our proven model to be equated to Euro. caste models. 1/n

We often discredit age old varna system for not staying united, when ironically that same system maintained unity for ages.

As individualist, varna structure offered personal space as required while assuring communal strength of social class. 2/n

It is not the system which worked for 10K+ yrs that is faulty, but practitioners of the system under the influence of external forces that has harmed it.

Ironically, proponents of 'uniform groups' are more closed and less accommodative than diverse & stratified H society. 3/n

Asking and thrusting on practitioners of thousands of years of seekers and individualists to adopt uniformity is the sole reason of resistance and hesitation.

Subjugation has famined minds of Hindu thinkers of the last 2 centuries in being able to present a cogent argument. 4/n

Sociologists, would agree that mass unity comes by acceptance of diversity, not by forcible enforcement of commandments of abrahamic style.

Engineers, would agree junking the machine that has delivered, is an overkill, rather maintain and upkeep to give better RoI. 5/n

There is unity prescribed already in all our Indic thinking.

By placing rashtra on even keel with our biological mothers, our thinkers have shown contours on liberalism & individualism that can discussed.

So as long as #vandemataram is held sacrosanct, pluralism is assured 6/n
