@Hadithoftheday Sayyidna Ali R.A
Sayyidna Ali R.A ruled for about 5 years.
Following the death of Uthman R.A, the senior companions insisted that Ali R.A to takke over as leader of the Islamic State. At the insistence of Az-Zubair & Talhah, he accepted the position as the 4th Right Guided Caliph
@Hadithoftheday Inaugural speech of Ali R.A as a caliph:

"I advise you O slaves of Allah to fear Allah, for god-fearing is the best advice Allah's slaves might give to one another. It is also the closest deed to His pleasure, and the most yielding of the best results in His sight. +
@Hadithoftheday No doubt, you are ordered to fear Allah and you have been created to be faithful.
So you should beware of Allah as the Almighty has warned you of Himself. Indeed, He has warned you of a strong violence if you do not comply to his order. Furthermore, you should fear Allah so much+
@Hadithoftheday You should do the good deeds without the intention of showing off or gaining good reputation. Whoever does the good deeds for anything other than for the sake of Allah, surely Allah would make him suffer from the evil consequences of what he has done. +
@Hadithoftheday Whoever does good deeds sincerely for the sake of Allah, certainly Allah would be his supporter and He would give him the goodness of his intention.
You should fear of Allah's punishment, for He has never created you vainly nor has He left anything of your affairs to no purpose+
@Hadithoftheday He made you, learnt your secrets, recorded your deeds, and then decreed your terms. So let not the world deceive you with its vain hopes, for no doubt, it is to beguile its people, and how haughty he is, who is deceived by it. The hereafter is the abode of eternal stay.
@Hadithoftheday Among all the Four caliphs. Uthman R.A ruled longest.
1. Sayyidna Abu Bakr R.A ruled for about 2 years.
2. Sayyidna Umer R.A ruled for about 10 years.
3. Sayyidna Uthman R.A ruled for about 12 years (The longest reign).
4. Sayyidna Ali R.A ruled for about 5 years.
@Hadithoftheday Ali R.A was paternal Cousin & son in law of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Ali R.A was the son of Abu Talib who was the paternal uncle of RasoolAllah ﷺ and later on Ali R.A became son in law of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when he married the youngest daughter "Fatimah R.A" of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ .
@Hadithoftheday Ali R.A's lineage to the Prophet ﷺ is exceptional for not only as Prophet ﷺ's cousin, he was also adopted into the Prophet ﷺ's household when he was young. Later on He became son in law of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ .
Ali R.A married Fatima R.A after battle of Badr.
@Hadithoftheday Ali R.A was subsequently bestowed the title of "brother" by the Prophet ﷺ upon migration to Medina as he undertook to care for his welfare. Ali R.A and Fatimah R.A had two sons Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn, and a daughter Umm Kulthoom.
@Hadithoftheday Simplicity was the key to Ali' R.A's existence. He was brought up in a simple & spare surrounding while he was in the Prophet' ﷺ household & he continued doing so when he married Fatimah.They lived on basic food like milk, barley bread,& at times had to go without food for days
@Hadithoftheday When Ali R.A became Caliph, he maintained the same austere lifestyle.
Despite being poor and living a meagre life, Ali R.A would never let any poor man at the door leave disappointed.
@Hadithoftheday Bravery was second nature to Ali R.A for he had fought valiantly at battles and emerged victorious, earning the title of the "Assadullah" meaning "Lion of Allah". He was a party to all the battles fought with the Prophet ﷺ at the helm except for one.
@Hadithoftheday Once Umar R.A complained to the Prophet ﷺ that Ali R.A never gave him salam when they met. The Prophet ﷺ summoned Ali R.A and asked him to explain his actions. +
@Hadithoftheday Ali R.A said that he had heard the Prophet ﷺ saying that whoever initiates a greeting to his brother in Islam first, will be given a palace in Jannah (a high reward), and he wanted that reward to be bestowed upon Umar R.A. +
@Hadithoftheday This was why every time he met Umar, he delayed his greeting, so that Umar R.A would initiate the greeting and be rewarded for it.

@Hadithoftheday Burāq.
Prophet ﷺ was sleeping in his room & Jibrael A.S came & woke him up & led him to white beast named as “Buraq".
Buraq is described as being between a mule and a donkey. Its speed was such that its hooves would touch where its eyes gazed.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an :
"Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing."
(Quran. Al-Israa 17: Verse 1)
@Hadithoftheday Prophet ﷺ mounted on buraq & began to fly towards Quds.

Buraq bore Prophet ﷺ on its back and in an instant transported him to Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem, a journey that at the time took weeks overland. There, at Quds, the Prophet ﷺ led all the Prophets in prayer.

@Hadithoftheday Umayyah ibn Khalaf.
When Umayyah heard about Bilal reverting to Islam, he tortured him & forced him to relinquish the Islam.
But filled with love of Muhammad ﷺ & Islam, Bilal remained steadfast despite extreme torture and kept saying “Ahad, Ahad.” (Allah is One, Allah is One)
@Hadithoftheday Umayyah ibn Khalaf was the head of Banu Jumah tribe of Quraysh.

Bilal R.A suffered terribly after accepting Islam.
Umayyah used all sorts of torture on Bilal R.A to make him change his mind. But Bilal R.A remained firm.
Umayyah ibn Khalaf was killed in the Battle of Badr.
@Hadithoftheday When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ learned about his tribulation, he sent Abu Bakr R.A, who bought him from the oppressor and freed him. The freedom was Islam’s first gift to Bilal. Second Caliph Umar ibn Khattab R.A honored him by calling him as Sayyedna (our leader)

@Hadithoftheday Shawwal
Shawwal is the name of the 10th month of the Islamic Calender
Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari relates that Allah’s Messenger ﷺ says: Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan & then follows it with six days of fasting in the month of Shawwal,it will be as if he had fasted the year through.
@Hadithoftheday The month of Shawwal is a symbol of new life and renewal after a month of spiritual cleansing. It’s a truly transformative period for Muslims.
It is recommended for the Muslim to fast six days of Shawwaal, and in this there is great virtue and an immense reward.
@Hadithoftheday Shawal means Uplift/breakage, as before Islam, Arabs trusted that any marriage held in Shawal would dependably end up being unsuccessful.
Taken from “shala” which means "when the female camel gets pregnant"
This name was given as female camels used to get pregnant amid this time
