Mus'ab ibn Umair R.A was a child of a rich family. From his childhood,he lived in luxuries of life.
Especially as a handsome young man,he was lavished with special love & attention
In fact,he was unique in his luxurious tastes
He wore the most costly clothes and changed them twice a day. His shoes used to be the costliest available at that time.
He was also fond of wearing fragrance. A whiff of his fragrance was enough for the people to know that Mus'ab is passing by.
With all that luxurious lifestyle, he was very intelligent and had an elegant personality with keen mind and mastery in eloquent speech. Because of these qualities, he was moving about among the influential circles of chiefs of Quraysh at a young age.
Mus'ab ibn Umar R.A was the flower of the Quraysh, the most handsome and youthful. Historians and narrators describe him as โThe most charming of the Makkansโ.
He was born and brought up in wealth, and he grew up with its luxuries.
Perhaps there was no boy in Makkah who was pampered by his parents like Musโab lbn Umair R.A.
All of this changed when he accepted Islam..
Mus'ab had to sacrifice his life of luxury for the sake of the truth of Islam. For his love for Islam, he was deprived of all his wealth, every penny of it.
After losing everything he had, he himself devoted all his time and energies in acquiring Islamic knowledge and in the service of Allah. This resulted in abject poverty.
So much so that the young man "Mus'ab" who was famous for elegant dresses, costly shoes and the best fragrance was seen in the same streets of Makkah in tattered coarse clothes. But he did not even complain.
He had found the greatest wealth of all, the love of Allah & the truth of Islam. His keen, intelligent mind had spotted & sealed a real deal by trading in the temporary pleasures of this world for the permanent luxuries of the Hereafter.
Mus'ab R.A was Martyred in Battle of Uhud.
The Prophet ๏ทบ saw Mus'ab R.A with the eyes of wisdom, thankful and loving, and his lips smiled gracefully as he said, โI saw Musโab here, and there was no youth in Makkah more petted by his parents than he. Then he abandoned all that for the love of Allah and His Prophet!โ
The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ addressed the dead body of Mus`ab ibn `Umair R.A thus:
"When I saw you for the first time in Makkah, there was nobody more handsome and well-dressed than you". But, I see that today your hair is uncombed and only a sheet of cloth covers your body!
The Martyr of Uhud could not get proper shrouds because in those days Muslims were poor and lacked money. Musโab bin Umair R.A had only a sheet of cloth over his body; if the head was covered, the feet were bare and when the feet were covered the head was left bare.
In the end, his head was covered and his feet were covered with grass.
Such was the shroud of Mus'ab bin โUmair R.A โ the great martyr of the Muslim nation.
When Mus'ab R.A embraced Islam, he lost everything he had of this world. And long after he lost his life for that same cause, the companions themselves would regularly be brought to tears remembering his sacrifices.
Mus'ab Ibn Umair R.A was the Man Who Gave It All.

"I advise you O slaves of Allah to fear Allah, for god-fearing is the best advice Allah's slaves might give to one another. It is also the closest deed to His pleasure, and the most yielding of the best results in His sight. +
@Hadithoftheday No doubt, you are ordered to fear Allah and you have been created to be faithful.
So you should beware of Allah as the Almighty has warned you of Himself. Indeed, He has warned you of a strong violence if you do not comply to his order. Furthermore, you should fear Allah so much+
@Hadithoftheday Shawwal
Shawwal is the name of the 10th month of the Islamic Calender
Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari relates that Allahโs Messenger ๏ทบ says: Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan & then follows it with six days of fasting in the month of Shawwal,it will be as if he had fasted the year through.
@Hadithoftheday The month of Shawwal is a symbol of new life and renewal after a month of spiritual cleansing. Itโs a truly transformative period for Muslims.
It is recommended for the Muslim to fast six days of Shawwaal, and in this there is great virtue and an immense reward.
