ALERT: Fire activity has increased in Twin Bridges in unburned areas again. More crews have arrived for structure defense. At least one cabin has been destroyed. I don't have a location.

ALERT: E, Spot fires are growing again on Echo Summit. Several structures along 50 are on fire. Crews are working in extremely difficult conditions to both save homes and prevent further spread.

UPDATE: E, Firing operations have gone on all day along the 50 grade where it comes down into the valley. It has been successful until just recently when some trees caught and began torching. It's throwing spot fires to the NE which crews are putting out. #CaldorFire

ALERT: Kingsbury has been ordered to evacuate. #caldorfire

UPDATE: SE, The fire on the W side of Thunder Mountain continues marching NE towards Lake Kirkwood. @dsgleason has video reportedly showing smoke and visible flames now visible from Kirkwood parking lot.

Air traffic over the fire is very busy right now with several fixed wing tankers, lead plans, scout planes, helo tankers, buckets, and helo scouts all working two areas: Kirkwood, and the new spot fire north of 50 near Wright's Lake.

ALERT: E, It appears the front is rapidly approaching Heavenly, roughly at the top of the purple arrow. #CaldorFire

ALERT: SE, dozer lines on boths sides of Thunder Mountain have been abandoned. New lines are being cut in another attempt to save Kirkwood.

ALERT: SE, Ground crews are prepping structures in Kirkwood Meadows.

ALERT: SE, small spot fires are appearing near the entrance to Kirkwood. Purple dots are approximate for reference.

ALERT: N, 2 more spot fires have been identified in Wright's Lake area. One of them is now running towards the lake where crews are prepping structures for defense. #CaldorFire

UPDATE: N, Fixed wing tankers are dropping retardant to try to stop the fire from approaching the community of Wright's Lake.

ALERT: SE, fire is now in the field opposite the entrance to Kirkwood across 88.
