#caldorfire
UPDATE: N/NW, the area W of white hall near Bull Creek is again showing increased activity, which means crews are again watching closely for spot fires north of hwy 50. #CaldorFire
Today saw very little fire growth (relative to previous days) on all flanks of the fire, except North towards Wrights Lake where there was a sizeable run. This area will need closely monitored. And while other areas didn't see...

#CaldorFire
...massive growth they all still have their own challenges and dangers. I'm thinking about Kirkwood, Heavenly, Meyers, and areas around Echo Lake. Still, I'm growing hopefull that, assuming crews continue to stay on top of the ...

#Caldorfire
...embers and spot fires, we may be looking at a number of days of less growth overall and increased containment. I don't do this too often but I think it's been a successful day and wanted to share my hopeful side for a change.

#caldorfire
...to be clear, this is speculation, an extreme rarity for me. So I just want to highlight that for those who may be new to my style of reporting.

#CaldorFire
With that said I think it may be a good day to shut it down early and get a little extra rest. Thanks for spending time with me today. Take care of each other and be safe.

#caldorfire
...brief moments of slopover out to 89 but all of these instances have been quickly brought under control. The primary concern for the structures here is actually from embers coming off the ridge towards Echo Summit but crews continue to manage well...
