The first 1000 followers is the hardest. It took me 11 or 12 weeks to get 1k and just 4 weeks to get 3k+ followers

Here are 3 tips for getting 1k followers faster.
1. Rather than just following accounts in bulk, BUILD LISTS
Add 10-50 accounts you admire and create a list.

And whatever value they post, leave a comment, with MORE value, that will help the next person grasp what they're saying better
Many new accounts make the mistake of having a larger following count than their follower count. This gives cheapens your profile
Your aim is to get 50-100 comments daily on bigger accounts
Please don't leave comments like: Yes, Well said, accurate or true.

Add value.
2. Join or create Engagement Communities.

You have two options either to join paid or free groups.

The paid ones are more organized and they give tips that will help you alot. The group that helped me the most was the famous smart community

Although it's my affiliate link, it's a community that will increase your growth faster than doing it yourself
Another trick is to reach out to similar accounts, and form an engagement group with them
Next are your tweets

One thing is getting engagement the other is the quality of your tweets.

Your tweets are what keep people, and The Template course was what did it for me

gumroad.com/a/777294963/Kt…
Although quite expensive, but it's worth its weight in Gold
Making it on Twitter is more about working smart than hard.

And to work smart you need knowledge and knowledge costs money
3. DM people and ask for tips

I did this alot, and you'll be shocked by how much people are willing to help.

Reaching out to people is the same as networking and it's the best way to make it here
A shoutout to some people who gave great tips were

@master_nobody
@SaveYourSons
@Positive_Call
@The_SmartMoney
@theciaranmarket
@cmc223
@MindHaste
@ApprovedSide

Thank you all for your help
Lastly, be consistent.

This is a common tip I've gotten from bigger accounts, and it's completely true.

Business owners, freelancers, this should help:
Rock bottoms happen. Times will come when opportunities dry up, your businesses fail, and it seems like everything is working against you
- J.K Rowling was fired from her job as a secretary in Amnesty International

- Steve Jobs was fired from his own company

- Oprah was fired as a news reporter for Baltimore’s WJZ-TV.

The list goes on, but what all of these people had in common was their comeback.

Before I started writing fully in 2019, I was confused.

I wanted to learn graphic design, but also wanted to write

But I didn't have the resources to learn design, so I started writing, which seemed more natural to me

//here's my story//
I read all the stories on succeeding as a freelance writer.

So, I put everything into practice. And then, The keyboard on my computer suddenly became faulty, so I'd write blogposts on my phone and email them to as many people as I could.
I did this for days, and just one person replied. That's how I first got published

It wasn't sustainable, so I started using Upwork. I remember how excited I was for getting my first $20 gig.

I wrote that article by hand, and then typed it on my sister's computer and sent.

Sure, life is a bit tough, but that's the fun of it.

In the end, that's our story.

But we can only make it a good story when we overcome our struggles
And if you keep fighting, surely you'll overcome, no doubt.

You're a winner.
