This was 2 years ago. Anchors, journalists, agents, producers, hundreds of media folks at this event. Guess who was also there having the best time? Sean Spicer. The same man who lied to these very same people as Trump's first WH press secretary. He was having a ball! 2/
Imagine wining and dining and partying with the same folks who went out of their way to lie to you, spread disinformation and incite violence and threats against you by calling you the "enemy of the people?" Also some reporters did a farewell party for Sarah Huckabee Sanders 3/
It's a big, incestuous club that relies on each other for access, jobs, sex, and helps each other fail up in life. They're buddies & fake friends which is why they hold their punches & don't do hardball interviews. It's how the town works & in part a reason why democracy suffers.
