Court: We will take Item 36 and 38 together. In 36, the prayer is to declare results. #CBSE has said that they will declare by 30th.
Alam: I am seeking deferment. It is scheduled on 12th September. There are various exams taking place around 12th. Most students taking these will also have take these exams.
There is the Orissa JEE, the next is CBSE Physics on 9th September.
Court: If you have to appear in multiple exams, then you have to make a choice. If all boards started listening like this, exams will start in January.

Alam: I am not asking you to cancel the exam, my Lords. I am simply asking for a defferment. These #students who are 17-18 years, this is the first pen & paper exam they are taking in 1 1/2 year.
#SupremeCourt: We really need to lay down the extent of our judicial intervention. These students should burn the midnight oil and prepare. How much can we intervene as a court?
Alam: Let me make another submission, My Lord. The exam pattern has been changed just 2 months ago. The time per question has been reduced and this has a bearing on the pressure faced by students.
