Alam: I am seeking deferment. It is scheduled on 12th September. There are various exams taking place around 12th. Most students taking these will also have take these exams.

There is the Orissa JEE, the next is CBSE Physics on 9th September.

Alam: About 14 Lakhs. But you cannot ignore the other 25,000.

Alam: I am not asking you to cancel the exam, my Lords. I am simply asking for a defferment. These #students who are 17-18 years, this is the first pen & paper exam they are taking in 1 1/2 year.

#SupremeCourt: We really need to lay down the extent of our judicial intervention. These students should burn the midnight oil and prepare. How much can we intervene as a court?

Alam: It is very relevant to point out that the Respondent No. 1 has recently postponed the JEE.

#SupremeCourt : If they want to postpone, we will not stop them. But we cannot force them.

Alam: Then I request that my Petition be treated as a representation

Alam: Let me make another submission, My Lord. The exam pattern has been changed just 2 months ago. The time per question has been reduced and this has a bearing on the pressure faced by students.

#SupremeCourt: In the previous hearing, the Court had allowed a second round of examination for those who have applied and have not been able to take the exam.

Court: All we will say is that this Petition be treated as a representation. Let the rest be decided by the authority.

[ORDER]: we are not impressed nor willing to show any indulgence to the Petitioners by invoking remedy under #Article32

Petitioners are free to make representation before concerned authority. Beyond this, we do not wish to make any more observation.
