Let's read a little about the education system in India and some statistics about ongoing education system.
But I have question, is being literate is also being educated? If, answer is no, what's the parameter of education today? Do we need Gurukul?
Swami Vivekananda rightly said about education once: “Education is the manifestation of perfection already in the men.” But again question rises how to define perfection. There is a famous quote that no body is perfect. But when it comes to education perfection can be defined.
Indian education system dates back to Vedic times. We had Gurus like Vashisth, Vishwamitra, Dronacharya, Kashyap & many more. Gurukul was residential schooling & origin dates back to around 5000 BC. Even if history has been moulded girls were also educated in those times.

Opened Facebook today for some professional reason. Saw a Senior updated Her Promotion to a high Admin level. She looked happy. Flash back started to 2012. She was much senior to me and she left no stone unturned to do wrong with me at career front.
She did alot of my image tarnishing and character maligning among her peers which slowly reached to my friends to and I suffered major setbacks at career and personal fronts. She had been one of the person who contributed to my failures of 1 year. I never answered her back.
I never blamed her or anything. No fight nothing. Finally, today when I saw her growing and reaching to a height which she deserved at professional front I might have felt angry, sad or jealous. To my surprise none of these feelings attacked me today. Instead I smiled seeing her.
