Let's read a little about the education system in India and some statistics about ongoing education system.
But I have question, is being literate is also being educated? If, answer is no, what's the parameter of education today? Do we need Gurukul?
Swami Vivekananda rightly said about education once: “Education is the manifestation of perfection already in the men.” But again question rises how to define perfection. There is a famous quote that no body is perfect. But when it comes to education perfection can be defined.
Indian education system dates back to Vedic times. We had Gurus like Vashisth, Vishwamitra, Dronacharya, Kashyap & many more. Gurukul was residential schooling & origin dates back to around 5000 BC. Even if history has been moulded girls were also educated in those times.
While our History books portrayed Gurukuls to be Ved & Upanishad learning centres our ancient science proves that it was more. They were hub of Science, astronomy, mathematics, medicines, language, yoga. Even though we don't accept but our they were also hub of defence teachings.
Even when it comes to female Scholars we had Gargi, Maitreyi, Lopamudra and Ghosha. The Rig Veda has long conversations between the sage Agasthya and his wife Lopamudra that testifies to great intelligence & goodness of latter. Then how come we suppressed our ladies.
As time passed by we evovled & attained most eminent centres of educations. Nalanda & Takshila were centres of education in Ancient days. Nalanda was part of Magadh, Takshila was in Pak. Vikramashila, Pushpagiri, Valabhi, Odantapuri, Sonapur were also universities in India.
Most of them are now in remains & education directly skipped from there to the Modern times in British rule. And we started having education that was more of Generating government servants and not policy makers. Macaulay system of education was solely planned idea of Britishers
With time we have certainly created many scholars shining India on World portal. But is this enough. Every year we are producing a big mob of Graduates & Post Graduates but to be honest are they that skilled. Even though we have Institutes of Eminence we are losing perfection.
The Rest Thread will continue next week to be presented with more facts and figure till then keep pushing your child to study. You never know what failure he or she can face. Restrict their social media and obviously stop the Instagram reels 😉😉😉

Opened Facebook today for some professional reason. Saw a Senior updated Her Promotion to a high Admin level. She looked happy. Flash back started to 2012. She was much senior to me and she left no stone unturned to do wrong with me at career front.
She did alot of my image tarnishing and character maligning among her peers which slowly reached to my friends to and I suffered major setbacks at career and personal fronts. She had been one of the person who contributed to my failures of 1 year. I never answered her back.
I never blamed her or anything. No fight nothing. Finally, today when I saw her growing and reaching to a height which she deserved at professional front I might have felt angry, sad or jealous. To my surprise none of these feelings attacked me today. Instead I smiled seeing her.
