@mattzollerseitz is right, I mean right down to the socks no one is casted right, they even miscast Kennedy IF you're focused on looks because I've only been watching a few minutes and I've already settled into the characters

Wish I knew more about the outlier characters because they seem important to the lore but I don't know enough about it to recognize

I've watched alot of Golden age film I eat it up, but they way I know next to nothing about these people's personal lives

John Wayne was such a dick. Better actor than folsk give him credit for , but a dick who really literally should've minded his business alot more.

I really miss messy television like this. The movies were better ..miniseries were special too, when they weren't all trying to be movies and "Prestige" didn't exist. And what's crazy is the imagined gap between Television and movies was much larger then so you would think...

Watching this and I'm think hard once again on the complex figure that was Sammy Davis and once again the importance of Grace...

This movie is incredibly well lit...

Were it any other entertainer a dance in front of the word N***er to piss off a white audience would feel foreign and completely out of pocket, but it does feel on brand for the way Sammy dealt with racism
