I feel like I can always tell even from a trailer when a movie looks like it was actually well thought out and from a desire to continue the strory or just pushed out because they are aware of its legacy and big $ is on the table. Whether it's good or not I can tell it's organic

Since the first Matrix Lana and Lilly always impressed me with their inclusiveness in a world where science fiction in general has NOT...Hell even with BR 2049 poc were so restricted to the background it was hellacious to me

The Wachowskis didn't do that fake kind either where it's simply superficial. Throw a couple of cast members in for short appearances play them up in the trailers....

They really populated the entire world with a gang of ALL kind of folk, in every kind of position and I see this trailer and nothing has changed. I'm eating it up. This is the way it should always be

I've been paying real attention the tweets and pieces by folk like @roxana_hadadi about the lack of Mena actors in Dune. I completely understand their fervor and more folks should be just as firm about it, ther just isn't any excuse...

The Matrix isn't born of text that strictly speaks to and from any particular region or peoples and Dune is and leave them out of it? Nevermind that of the people of color it's chosen most have ambiguous appearances and or are background players. It is egregious
