A STEP-BY-STEP PLAN ON HOW I WOULD USE TIK TOK TO BUILD A 6-FIGURE ECOMMERCE BRAND
I've seen more businesses than I can count follow this exact formula and explode without previously having any followers.
Are you ready?
Let’s get this bread 🥂
First things first, the power of tik tok..
Tik tok is WAY bigger than kids doing random dances. It's become a massive search engine for people to find new hobbies, places to go, communities, tutorials, etc.
Tik Tok is the home to massive, thriving communities on nearly every topic.
So how can we get a piece of the pie and build a 6 figure business?
First thing we need to do is study this community to figure out:
1. What is their main desire 2. What are they already spending their money on
Discovering their main desire? PT1:
They want their face to look beautiful, healthy. They also want their face to FEEL beautiful, healthy.
PT2:
Taking care of their face is a form of self care. It's very important to their emotional well being to take physical action to improve their facial skin. It soothes their mental state (after all most people are VERY stressed these days)
What are they spending money on? PT1:
Take 30 minutes and just watch videos.
What products do you see people using?
What products do you see people recommending?
Jot these down.
What are they spending money on? PT2:
Search stuff like this on google for more insight
"skin care products you need but don't have"
"ancient skin care secret"
What we r looking 4 is a product people into skin care would love (it meets their main desire) and that other ppl in skin care already have bought (we only sell things people are already buying) AND because we r not skin care professionals we r gonna stay away from chemicals.
Here's the gold mine I stumbled upon:
Gua Sha: a traditional Chinese healing method in which one uses a smooth-edged tool to stroke your skin and is believed to help improve: a natural way to improve wrinkles, improve jaw line, tighten skin.
So it meets their main desire (looking and feeling beautiful)
And it gets even better
within the skin care community on tik tok there's a sub community of people who LOVE gua sha
The Gua Sha hashtag has nearly 700 million views.
Lets go!
Let's talk about how to sell it:
We have to find a supplier
For starters, aliexpress is the easiest place to look.
We want to find a listing with good reviews (4.5 or higher) and offers tracking on the orders.
We've found a good product from a supplier (chose one with a box because it looks better and can help us sell it for more)
The price? $11
In the past people used to say your sales price should be 3x what you pay for it.
But that doesn't really cut it anymore.
We're gonna position it as a more premium option and sell it for $49. The goal is to be as close or above 80% margins as possible. If we buy for $11 and sell for $49 we are at 77% margins. This is doable.
So how do we position it as a premium product?
We already made sure it had decent packaging, now it needs a quality name
I'm just spitballing here but you get the point, PREMIUM FEEL IS KEY
Now let's talk about how to leverage the thriving skin care community on tik tok to build our gua sha skin care brand.
We're going to DISSECT as many videos as we can and take notes on things like:
1. What style of videos do well? 2. What kind of hooks do they use? 3. What kind of transitions do they use?
You're creating an outline for yourself when you start making this content.
Now we're going to start producing content using the notes we made above.
Your first few videos might not go viral but don't stop.
Commit to making 2-3 videos per day (they can be variations of each other)
Eventually, something will pop!
And when it does make sure you're ready...
Invest in a shopify account, pay for a custom domain, make sure your store has a premium feel (nice pastel colors, roboto font, crisp images, keep it simple) and make your website is in your tik tok bio.
Now you're in business!
I've given you an exact target market and product to sell BUT you'll probably see much better results if internalize it and use it as a framework for something else on tik tok instead of just copying this straight up.

A STEP-BY-STEP PLAN ON HOW TO LEVERAGE PASSIONATE COMMUNITIES TO MAKE $100 PER DAY
This is a thread of the exact steps I took in the past to make $3,000 per month.
Let’s get this bread 🥂
From reddit, to twitter, to youtube, to instagram and tik tok the internet is a HUB for communities where people go to share and enjoy their hobbies.
Every single one of these hubs present a unique opportunity to get in front of people who love that subject matter and more importantly are willing to spend money on it.
Here's how I come with 7 figure ecom brands ideas WITHOUT wasting my time and money chasing "winning products" 👇
If you didn’t know already, there’s one thing I hate seeing people fall into as they begin their ecom/dropshipping journey...
Being obsessed with “winning products”.
Newbies spending all their time searching and testing for 1 “winning product” while ignoring nearly everything else that contributes to a profitable store/brand is why most newbies never have or will make a profit.
HOW I MADE MY FIRST $30,000 BY COPYING A BIGGER, MORE SUCCESSFUL BRAND AND NOT TRYING TO BE ORIGINAL
This is a thread of the exact steps I took 3 years ago to make my first profitable brand online and how you can do the exact same today.
Let’s get this bread 🥂
Flashback to 2017, I discovered dropshipping and even though I saw the potential and everyone else seemed to be getting rich, I couldn't make any money.
For months I religiously allocated $500/m to testing various products with no luck.
Here are some of the EXACT ads I tested:
I spent hundreds of dollars and only made one $60 sale.
Why is it feel like everyone’s first dropshipping store is pet related?
My first stores
• dog store (never launched)
• camping store (lost $150 on fb)
• dainty travel jewelry (travel bloggers wouldn’t work with me)
• baby clothes (made my first two sales, lost $100)
• slim wallet (made my first $30k)
Should I post some of my first ads?
Posting these so you know what’s UNACCEPTABLE.
I ran ads to these, lost every time.
But I committed to spending $500 per month until I figured it out.
