1/6 The hill to die on?

The idea of mandating vaccination —> 💉 passports, a prerequisite for employment etc is morally questionable but even more so for the young.

Using age group 20-29 in Sweden as an example👇🏽 total number of c19 deaths —> 16 according to Socialstyrelsen >>
2/6 By all means, make vaccination available🙏🏼 and encourage if you will🧐 but the coercive methods/strategies we see from certain directions is nauseating.

Mortality looks pretty light blue to me👇🏽up to age 79… for heavens sake >>
3/6 Should you - for any reason - choose not to vaccinate, it seems it already impacts your social life and perhaps career… why you say? Well everything from travel to Biden-like mandates awaits you…

This below is c19 ICU care events for the age group 20-29… >>
4/6 Additionally, people think you are an anti-vacc🤦‍♂️

At any rate, mandating vaccines is highly questionable… when it emerged that vaccines aren’t all that effective at stopping spread and immunity - as it seems - isn’t better than natural immunity >>

5/6 Then why would you mandate vaccines for the age group 20-29 used in my example above… it just isn’t right and not proportional.

Where there were no antivaxx there now is.
6/6 For all intents and purposes, we should celebrate, the most at risk (those where the highest ROI can be found) vaccination rates are already very high…

but still, some people feel the need to mandate and control.

The overreach is real & continuous my friends//END

1/11 🇸🇪 update of three charts including June and July with all cause mortality.

Additionally gathering some of my previous graphs in 🧵👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽which I have been meaning to do for some time >>
2/11 and… last couple of months have all been below average of 15-19 mortality as provisional 2021 data reveals, 1, 2… 6 consecutive months >>
3/11 and somewhat arbitrarily comparing January through July… it starts to look good so far for 2021 before entering autumn and probably new global calls for lockdowns and whatever >>

1/4 🇸🇪 How high is the vaccine uptake in Sweden? Well, some 75% have received one dose and almost 50% have received two doses and for people aged above 50 this number is even higher i.e those most at risk >>
2/4 it’s still important to remember how the risk varies between age groups why it’s so odd to increasingly hear people in support of vaccine bullying i.e no vaccine = not allowed to fully re-enter society >>
3/4 this despite the fact that we - since early spring - have had low number of c19 deaths in Sweden. In chart below I’ve added weekly cumulative share of population vaccinated (vaccine rollout only relevant for year 2021 in chart below) >>

1/5 NORDIC follow up. Mortality per 100 000 stratified into three age groups:

First age group 0-19, fluctuates around similar mortality year to year >>
2/5 Age group 20-64👇🏽
It now seems apparent that in the younger age groups Denmark has higher mortality rates than its Nordic neighbours in age group 0-64 and Finland higher at least in 20-64 >>
3/5 Lastly, age group 65+ is more “similar” between the countries but as can be seen Sweden increased mortality in the older age group y2020 which is related to the higher mortality in older age groups due to covid, especially related to elderly care, see next tweet 👇🏽 >>

1/6 🇸🇪 patients to emergency rooms (somatiska akutmottagningar) declined during 2020. Ca 159k fewer patients (emergency room) during 2020 compared with 2019 (period March-September). Partly as a result of people being afraid but also due to other causes. Blue line is... + Image
2/6 total patients to emergency room during 2020 and it’s per 100k.

This chart👇🏽 presents data per region as deviation from average of 2017-2019. We see sharp declines most notably i Gothenburg region (Västra Götaland). + Image
3/6 largest %decreases we have seen in upper respiratory infections and it seems largest absolute decrease would be injuries, abdominal pain.

Only one area with slight increase, violent abuse... + Image
