Potential Restructuring of the Deal? 🧵
1/ Rumours been gathering pace that there’s a potential restructuring of the deal to finally push through a takeover. Want to clarify these are rumours - but they’re cropping up through different sources now.
2/ It’s on good authority that MA is visiting Newcastle this week. He doesn’t just come up on a whim. We all know that the day to day running of the club is left to Lee Charley - including all things Bruce.
3/ Furthermore, there’s been rumours for a few weeks now that Mukesh Ambani has an eye on NUFC. It’s well documented that there’s more people at the table. Why is he so significant?
4/ His company, ‘Reliance’, sold a significant stake to none other than our Saudi PIF friends in 2020. By all accounts, there’s a VERY good relationship between the two and Al-Rumayyan was appointed to their board just a few weeks back.
5/ the same Al-Rumayyan who is down as director of the ready-in-waiting investment vehicle. NCUK Investment Ltd.
6/ Add to this the fact that Mr Ambani has just sent a conglomerate of private jets to London (wouldn’t be a takeover hype without plane spotting) and we’re in the realms of no longer bein just a coincidence…
7/ if you didn’t already know, then Mukesh Ambani’s brother is an avid NUFC fan and did try to buy us in 2008 - but Ashley changed his mind. There’s a personal tie as well as a PIF tie now.
8/ just how they play into the bigger picture remains unknown although there’s a possibility that ‘Reliance’ could now become majority shareholders with PIF taking a smaller percentage and more of a back seat.
9/ Either way, the money would still remain and so would the original interested parties. A restructuring of the deal and compromise has always been everybody’s best option - especially with a CAT case now two weeks away.
10/ That would tie in nicely with the rumours that a deal could be “weeks away”. The silence has been deafening for a few months now. Stavely et al have a habit of speaking up when things aren’t going to plan - and her silence speaks volumes.
11/ Couple that with the club statement lambasting Bruce and the lack of any investment beyond club revenue and you’re looking at an owner who couldn’t be closer to his precious exit with an owner in waiting desperate to take control of our rudderless ship.
12/ On a final note … we had a ruffle in the Companies House feathers not too long ago. Are we looking at a restructured sale which has gone under the radar? Let’s hope it’s more than coincidence #nufc #nufctakeover #endgame

NCSL & NUFC Anti-Corruption ... Takeover Thread 🧵
1/ From the outset, let’s make it clear that this is a POSITIVE for the takeover. The club have absorbed the NCSL case and can take that forward with a bottomless pit of funds and the best legal team money can buy. There’s no way this is a negative move!
2/ first and foremost - the fact that a FAN LED battle has teamed up with the football club clearly highlights there’s real public interest here. This goes beyond a takeover too and concerns itself with the conduct of the PL (fan-led reviews of PL are a very current topic💡...)

Another #NUFCTakeover Thread 🧵 In Light of Recent Events 🇸🇦⚽️ strap yourselves in for this one ...
1/ First thing’s first. @ADMusgrove and the @ChronicleNUFC have fought for SIX MONTHS to have this information made public. Let’s state the obvious .. somebody, somewhere was desperately fighting back for this not to come to light. We can only assume who that was 🙄
2/ Newcastle fans - through the NUST - have been made a mockery of by the PL. Richard Masters has bare-faced lied to this fanbase and the following extracts will prove this beyond unfounded claims.

1/ The High Court ruling on NUFCs arbitration objections is not a loss at all. To suggest the club are 2-0 down is just media sensationalism. In reality, the club and their legal team raised this objection knowing fine well it was a win-win situation and here’s why ...
2/ Option 1 was the objection is upheld and NUFC push through a change in arbitration chair to somebody less ‘bias’. Obvious win. HOWEVER, and this is an important point, it can be argued that not having the chair overturned was actually their biggest win.
3/ Knowing fine-well that as standard all judgements are publicly available (unless in the public interest to be kept confidential) NUFC and the legal team have forced scrutiny and pressure not only from the public but also from the judiciary and those involved in arbitration
