For this so-called 5th wave everyone with a positive test was considered a Covid death, with NO LIMIT to how old the positive could be.

Data come from Asturias region official report. The only difference they note with national criteria is that Central govt accepts only PCR, but they affirm they follow the national guidance for the rest

It is LITERALLY explained so in the spanish document: they search in hospital death records, care houses and even press obituaries for every death and THEN they look at testing database.
If a positive test appears, with NO DATE LIMIT, it's a COVID DEATH.

They only discard deaths like car crashes and obvious stroke accidents.

That's why deaths notified every day became 6X in 14 days during 5th wave.

They note 10 for today, in 2 weeks those 10 can easily be corrected into ~65

Disproportion between the daily figure death and it's exaggeration after 14 days has become more intensive once '21 winter was gone.

This 5th wave has the worse Manipulation.

It surely come from that NO LIMIT for positive test policy.

So, 117 (a 63%!, MOST of the deaths!!) supposed 5th wave Covid deaths, have their positive test MONTHS BEFORE, in one of the other waves.

Only 1/3 Covid deaths have the positive test in this very same 5th wave.

It's an overwhelmingly FAKE death spike.
