Was the maker of the cyber weapon NSO Group probed?
NSO was in fact issued a “notice”. But the Ministry has specifically chosen not to reply to this RTI.
RTI sought a copy of this “notice”, copy of reply received from NSO, and whether NSOs role was probed.

Did India take up the matter with Israel after the 2019 and 2021 scandals?
“No” said the Foreign Ministry in one word reply to an RTI. This confirmed that India did nothing to bilaterally raise these scandals with Israel even though it’s defence ministry approves all purchases.

Now that we know how the govt handled its inquiry in the 2019 case, the need for independent, transparent probe into both the 2021 and 2019 #PegasusSnoopgate revelations has become a basic necessity and is only proper.
