Welp, I’ll just be here in the kitchen making the fun recipe that came in the package for the kids this month, as per our daughter’s request, while she takes a pass after all. 
Will I be playing Dawn of Chromatica in the kitchen regardless of volume and possible impact on cartoon enjoyment in the other room? Me? I am aghast at the very question!
Update: we are actually cooking together now, and it is lovely, but she has requested a break to “bleach [her] eyes” after watching me dance to “Free Woman.”
We switched to Dua Lipa, and she went over to turn up the volume on “Levitating,” and it was a major “atta girl” parenting moment for me.
