This hosting is… a thing that is happening.
I’m not sure if I love how weirdly human and imperfect this all seems (awkward background laughter! that carpet!) or if I want a return to an auditorium full of untouchable immortals.
Every time there is audible applause that can only be described as a “smattering,” my heart feels torn.
Am I wrong, or did it actually feel more polished last time?
I mean “we are back… I believe”… and then this audio…
I haven’t seen any of the drama nominees, so I’ll just assume everyone winning did a great job.
This bit… was a choice. 
It says all you need to know about this production that it was plausible during the set-up that something had gone wrong and Ken Jeong simply wasn’t there.
This show has been way too glitchy for there to be bits about the show being glitchy. And you KNOW I love Catherine, Eugene, Dan and Annie.

If you’ve followed me for a bit, you’ll know I finally started watching Drag Race this past year, and having gotten there at last, I get it. It’s genuinely excellent, and it’s deserved every win.
Debbie Allen deserves all our respect, and YES TO TURNING OFF THE CLOCK!!!
Maybe we just don’t have unfunny bullshit and leave plenty of time for the actual award winners to speak?
