Fun fact: Kamala Harris gets to make the ruling if she wants to do so.
Another fun fact: The person who taught me this fun fact was Ted Cruz.
What matters, ultimately, is whether you have 50 votes to agree to vote for the bill after a Kamala Harris ruling.

Which comes back to Manchin and Sinema and co.

(Ted Cruz's plan didn't have close to 50 votes.)
There was a line I remember from Steny Hoyer during the so-called 'stolen vote' episode. Hoyer yelling that the parliamentarians aren't in charge.

I.E., the people who are elected are.
“You don’t need to override the parliamentarian or get a new parliamentarian. It is the vice president who rules,” Ted Cruz told me in 2017.
Bottom line: Senators run the Senate. They can run with this guidance or … not.
The person in the chair makes the ruling. The parliamentarian gives guidance, but isn’t holding the gavel. That would be Kamala Harris if she chose, or Leahy or his designee.

Things are cheaper in Minnesota.

🔥🤯18BRs, 18BAs, ???$220K????

The sign kind of has a @StephenKing kind of vibe.

The NORMAN MOTEL. zillow.com/homedetails/50…
Rooms seem ok, there's a real kitchen and some sweet industrial washers and dryers too. What am I missing? We should like totally buy this place right now, right, and make a killing?
Lots of parking, no HOA. Sure, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but you can live here and just rake in cash. Monthly payment a little over $1,000 a month.

*AMAZING* Virginia mountain retreat.

3BRs, 2BAs, 2.8 acres, access to 5-acre lake.

Near Front Royal. *$390K*???

A rare #SaturdayNightZillow because it might not last until Friday?
zillow.com/homedetails/21…
I love almost everything about this place. It's just stunning. You are going to get your steps in, though! #SaturdayNightZillow
Good news: The HOA is $35 a month, not $7,000 a month like that NJ condo I posted earlier.
Bad news: Apparently the HOA has banned AirBnB? LAME. It's a mountain retreat. It would be a perfect AirBNB. Maybe an hour and a half from DC? #SaturdayNightZillow

I'm staring at a gorgeous, $198,000, 4BR, 3,900 sf condo with a view of the Hudson and the Manhattan skyline.

Just when I'm getting excited and thinking I should up and buy it, I see the catch.

And Cheesy Crow, that's some catch! 1/
HOLY CONDO FEE, BATMAN! WTH. zillow.com/homedetails/3-…
The description says that includes utilities and taxes, but c'mon people. A condo fee should not be 5X the mortgage.

*ASTONISHING*

🔥New York City is no longer in the *Top 100* in COVID deaths per capita despite a catastrophic death rate of 1 in ~245 residents, per NYT's county/city tracker.
nytimes.com/interactive/20…
🤯Of the Top 100 counties in deaths per capita in the NYT tracker, *95* of them now are from states that voted for Trump in 2016.

Many of them slammed with a Delta wave of death correlating w/very low vaccination rates.
The deadliest county in America in total COVID deaths per capita is East Feliciana Parish, La., per NYT.

1 out of ~139 residents dead!

Would be >2M dead if USA had that level of death.

What Trump said his advisers told him could happen if government did nothing.

First up on an *EPIC* edition of #FridayNightZillow

A New York mansion *literally* built for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

It's *INSANE*, it's in the Bronx, and it has a crazy nearly-100-year backstory.

15K sf, $9.8M, *2.5 acres*
zillow.com/homedetails/36…
"Built in 1928 by Genevieve Ludlow Griscom, a member of the club—or cult—the Outer Court of the Order of the Living Christ. The group worked off the idea that Jesus, upon his return, would decamp to the Bronx..." #FridayNightZillow ny.curbed.com/2017/4/5/15197…
This doesn't really seem like the bathroom of a carpenter. #FridayNightZillow
