As we are going towards the elections it's important a culture of tolerance is taught especially among the youths. As @YardscOfficial we have always made tolerance a core subject. Ostallos, Tsenengamu& Mugwadi have all been part of the organisation& we taught them that virtue.
We can't have future leaders who are taught and believe in the use of violence as an instrument to advance goals. The youth are critical and they must been seen to choose leaders freely not because they have been threatened.
We need to demystify the use of violence and show that it's not part of politics. The law enforcement agencies in this country have been a disappointment in their ability to deal with politically motivate violence also. Many who have been incriminated are still walking free.
Some have not been investigated despite there being national reports incriminating them. It's very unfortunate.

Surely do we really have anything left for our people after this. Where is @EMAeep in all this? There are houses there, cattle also and they are still blasting. How do we allow our country to go to the dogs like this? This is deplorable and shameful.
In SA they are celebrating Heritage Day today and here this is what is happening to our people. Ahh kana tisina simba then Mwari nevadzimu venyika vachapindira. If we are powerless as a people in the face of this then the ancestors of this country will rise up and defend us.
It's a shame, an utter shame that our people are treated like this. If the ancestors could reclaim this country from the Rhodesians then they will claim it again from the people they gave it to and allowing this.

The acute polarisation in the country has resulted in people who hate @ZANUPF_Official refusing to partake in national programs. Others have lost out on the Land Reform, Indigenisation or National Housing programs. Just because of the name of the party.
The hate has even become personal, hating people in the party. You extend your hate to someone who has done nothing wrong. Unonzwa nyota makumbo ari mumvura because of hate. We need to grow. Our level of hate is just too much. @ZANUPF_Official or @mdczimbabwe are just names.
Why extend the hate to individuals to a point that you refuse to benefit or even attend one's funeral? Excessive fear of being branded sellout and castigated by your party? We have lost our ubuntu as a country. We should have political diversity, which is real democracy.

Happy Birthday Sekuru Tyson! Wishing you wealth, health& happiness on this, your 51st birthday. VaMoyo, this is no mere coincidence! ED is a Virgo, you are a Virgo& so am I! Other things in common is that ED’s mum is Moyo as is his wife, my mother is a Moyo& so are you too Sekuru Image
Not only that, tese takadzingwa musangano!! Kkkkk Seeing you are therefore Sekuru as well as Tezvara, you should convene a round table discussion to address matters for resolution! At the end of the day as I’ve always said, we are one and there should be no problems at all.
Sekuru, Muzukuru wenyu, ndovarikutonga ka saka unongomutsigira and Muzukuru ngachengete Sekuru, ndizvozvo zvinongodiwa chete, chete, that’s all that’s needed. If you were here we could have celebrated your birthday by going to Sherwood Farm to receive mombe as a gift.

1/16 The 2023 elections are an interesting proposition in light of what happened to the two main candidates, @nelsonchamisa and @edmnangagwa during the 2018 elections. In this thread I only focus on the President, and will talk of Chamisa later.
2/16 Whereas @chamisa had more votes than his party, showing the strength of his candidacy, @edmnangagwa had more than 20% less votes than his party @ZANUPF_Official. It was a strange result which calls for scrutiny of every province, district and ward in the party.
3/16 These differences in figures between party and presidential candidate, are striking discrepancies which speak to bigger issues which each of the parties needs to deal with before we begin the 2023 polls.

One thing I will always be grateful about from former President Mugabe's time was the empowerment drive and ideals that he had. He allowed and facilitated for many of us to be empowered and have the kind of lives that we have today. It's unfortunate that he overstayed in power.
Despite those blemishes, his legacy has some positives. He drove the education agenda after independence that was a marvel across the continent. The infrastructure drive was also great for over 20 years and we were a model for many upcoming African countries.
As a politician I will always cherish the moments I spent interacting with him when I was Mash West Provincial Chairman. Later I will share those moments. Once a month we would meet for at least two hours. If you met Mugabe one to one you would grasp what kind of man he was.

Midlands has it own issues. In the last election it performed badly because of people who believe they are close to @edmnangagwa. These include July Moyo, Owen Mudha and Mupereri. Thus Midlands is at its weakest because of these people.
They take people's mines, run violent gangs, machete gangs etc. In Shurugwi they have removed Deputy DDC Mupeta, District Chair Tau was removed, now the chairman is being removed. You don't unilaterally remove elected people. It's a mistake as the electorate becomes stubborn.
In that province Jorum Gumbo remains the only stable and resolute leader. Chairman McKenzie has been harassed also. Only that he is strong. However they are supporting Mukaratigwa who is fighting the young Chairman of Tongogara RDC, Njovana.
