I built a blog and ecommerce from 0 to 7-figure businesses

Here are the systems I used to scale both of them

And how you can use them to grow your business too

//THREAD//
1. Storm on Demand

A web hosting service for shopping carts

Most hosted platforms charge $500 for everything you host

Storm costs $50 and gives you great customer support.
2. Shopify

You probably guessed this one…

Shopify is a well known e-commerce platform

I use a modified version of OSCommerce but you should start with Shopify.
3. Klaviyo

Need ecommerce for email marketing?

Klaviyo is the best option

Very profitable
Easy to integrate
Trustworthy service

You can make BIG money this way.
4. Privy

A signup form for email marketing

Privy helped me increase my email signups by 131%

Can’t recommend it enough.
5. Postscripts

Postscripts are what I use for SMS Marketing

Think about this…

Social media like Facebook and Twitter are controlled (Zuck & Jack Dorsey)

But no one can take away your phone numbers

This has resulted in click rates of over 20% with Postscripts

Works wonders.
6. Manychat

Manychat creates flows and campaigns for you to send on Facebook Messenger

a) Open rates are 5x better than email
b) Click through rates are 8x better than email
c) Revenue per subscriber is 3.5x better than email

One of my favourite tools by far.

MYTH: You need $1000's to start an online business.

TRUTH: You can do it with less than $10.

Here's how YOU can start a T-shirt business with just $3

(and start making sales immediately)👇

//THREAD//
Step 1: Decide On A Niche

Before you do anything else,

You need to decide on a niche.

(this is probably the most important step in the whole process!)

Figure out your ideal customer and base your designs around that.

Use this to solidify a customer avatar👇
Step 2: Validate Your Designs

Biggest upside of starting a T-shirt company?

It's cheap + requires no cost of goods (usually).

So,

You can validate your niche without risking any money.

9 Simple Tips for writing killer eCommerce product descriptions that convert like crazy!

(this can 2x your product sales overnight)👇

//THREAD//
Before I start,

Understand this:

You’re not selling an item or a course or service or any other product...

You’re selling a fantasy.

Sell what the product does, not what it is.

This is the foundation for writing product descriptions that sell your products like hotcakes.
Tip #1 – Use The 5 Ws (And 1 H) To Understand Your Audience

Your descriptions must explain:

>who
>what
>where
>when
>why
>how

Writing product descriptions that sell is about laying out the facts and showing customers why they need your products in their lives.

In 2007, my wife & I quit our jobs to start an online store

Today?

We run two 7-figure online businesses

In my opinion, eComm is the best route to get started.

Here are the 4 most common eCommerce businesses you can start today (and make money from within a month)

#1 Dropshipping From Your Website

Dropshipping is a classic way to make money online.

Basically, you 'dropship' products from wholesalers and sell them at a higher margin on your own website.

You sell someone else's products by doing your own marketing.
Pros:
- no inventory
- minimal startup costs
- you don't do fulfillment

Cons:
- saturated
- fulfillment issues
- low profit margins (10-30%)

Dropshipping is perfect for learning the ins and outs of eCommerce without much risk.

3 Ways YOU Can Sell Products Online...

...WITHOUT Any Inventory!

(this means less stress, shipping issues & customer service) 🎯

// THREAD //
1. DROPSHIPPING

You've heard of dropshipping.

Instead of manufacturing and shipping products yourself, you act as the 'middle man'

You do the marketing, connecting customers with the manufacturer.

There are pros and cons to this business model.
✅ Pros:
- no inventory
- no shipping for you
- low startup costs
- you only need a website + traffic
- mostly low-risk

Here's the hard truth:

You'll never make life-changing money working a 9-5.

I should know - my wife and I worked office jobs we hated.

That all changed when we dove headfirst into online business... and never looked back.

Hopefully this will help someone in that position
Method #1: Work At A Startup Company That Provides Equity

When I said you'll never make life changing money working an office job?

This is one of the few exceptions to that.

How to make $1,000 FAST...

...while also building a long-term business that could potentially change your life.

(Step-By-Step)

// THREAD //
Step 1: Write Down What You Are Good At

This 1st Step is important.

To get someone to pay you $$$,

You MUST be able to provide value.

So...
>How can you provide a benefit that someone is willing to pay for?
>What can you teach someone that will improve their life?
Most people don't believe they are an expert in anything...

But this is the completely wrong mindset!

You just need to know more than whoever you are teaching.

You don't need to be THE expert...

...you just need to be A expert.

Write down a complete list of ALL your skills.
