1/ One of the important utilities we want to bring to the Moonsama NFT's will be their ability to act as a governance NFToken.
We are working on a snapshot voting system, 1 NFT = 1 vote.
Easy to implement since there are multiple governance solutions built on $ETH
2/ This will give the community control of important decisions going forward that shape the evolution of the project.
For instance, we can have the community vote in new skins/models/NFT's into the marketplace.
In addition to the unannounced utility the NFT provides in game.
3/ As the initial distribution of the NFT's was sufficiently decentralised, we as the team will be unable to force an outcome of the vote (we do not possess 51% of the NFT's).
4/ One of the most important features of $DOT $KSM and it's layer 1 parachains is the built in on-chain governance. It would be awesome if we were able to utilise this despite being a layer 2 application
5/ I think it could be possible in the future to turn Moonsama into a parathread and migrate our governance system to one directly running on top of @Kusamanetwork where the NFT's themselves are used as the "native token" and parathread fees are paid using our treasury.
6/ As outlined in @MoonriverNW recent technical update by @derekyoo they will support the bi-directional movement of KSM from the Relay Chain to an ERC20 representation on Moonriver using XCMP.
7/ This will allow us to add $KSM pairs to our planned DEX (backbone of our ingame economy).
Via this our treasury will be able to generate $KSM reserves from DEX fees, which can then used to fund activities on-chain as a parathread on @kusamanetwork
8/ To hint at the mechanism behind this process. Within the game events (weekly and sufficiently moderated to prevent foul behaviour and protect the game economy)
Resources/Loot obtained will be transferred to your $MOVR address as erc20 tokens.
9/ On our AMM DEX (essentially ready right now, standard uniswap fork) resources will be paired with both $MOVR and the erc20 version of $KSM.
Resource demand comes via the crafting system, where they will be burned in the process of creating new items increasing trade skills.
10/ There are 3 approaches we can take to incentivise liquidity providers here:
1. Create a token for liquidity rewards (usual #DeFi practice)
2. Apply for a grant from @MoonriverNW (10% of supply used for liquidity bootstrapping).
3. Apply to the $KSM council (HUGE treasury)
11/ We could even do all 3. And that would be only scratching the surface.
Our NFT's are in ERC721 format, interoperable by nature and take advantages of opportunities presented on other parachains and even other Layer 1 networks.
As ubiquitous as our EVM-based tech stack.
12/ Just sharing some thoughts on the direction we're going.
Project is less than a week old, the NFT marketplace and generative collection went live within days. FDV at floor price for the collection = >$17m
Now we bring the utility.
Expect more cₕₐₒₛ

@0xtuba 1/ Apps don't run on Polkadot as it's a layer 0 protocol. Same as Kusama.
Kusama right now has 7 blockchains running ontop of it.
One of them is $MOVR (kusama version of Moonbeam).
This is a layer 1 blockchain, fully ETH-compatible smart contract blockchain.
@0xtuba 2/ This of course has brought "smart contracts" to Polkadot/Kusama before ADA even work out how to do theirs.
Now right now, there's multiple dex's running ontop, including anon degen shit (a sign of how easy it is to get dapps up and running)
@0xtuba 3/ Within 13 days of launch there's $10m TVL of shitcoining going on.
But this is nothing, $SUSHI is about to launch on $MOVR (next week I heard) which will put this "parachain" head to head with some of the biggest layer 1 ecosystems in the space.
I heard this week the @Polkadot team are going on a coders retreat this month, where the big brains meet up to come to consensus.
They did this just before they launched parachains on $KSM
I speculate after this, they'll get the next round of auctions started
What they're doing hasn't been done before. It's the only layer 0 meta protocol in existence and Kusama now has 6 blockchains (parachains) running on top of it.
Fully fledged domain-specific blockchains, interoperable and backed by the shared security of the entire network.
Once they deem it stable enough, the next wave of auctions will start. And I suspect the "retreat" will aim to finalise this process.
Haven't heard any rumours of the date for the $DOT auctions, but it's logical to say when things are flourishing on the canary network it's time
.@dltMOBI, if you didn't know already from my tweets, makes up over 80% of the automotive manufacturing industry by volume and is backed by big names such as IBM, BMW and Accenture.
A true powerhouse and a main catalyst for growth of Blockchain*Automotive applications.
This is not fully priced in, however people have found the tender.
The 2 parties involved have not formally announced what they are working on together. Something we saw with Mercedes last wave, the news resulted in weeks of pumping.
